Hello Thank for sharing your concern openly I know it is difficult to treat acne when your digestion does not support you internally But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊 ▪️For your understanding Your acne suggests pitta and rakta imbalance with vata involvement I will explain this in simple words Pitta + Rakta dhusti leading to inflammtion and acne Vaya Imbalance causing -sensitivity of scalp and spread of lesions As your are prone to indigestion but dont worry we can treat this externally and gently also correcting your acne ▪️How to use Gandhaka Rasayana? Mostly this is taken internally but in exceptional cases we can use it externally also ➖For Acne Take 1 -2 pinches of powder mix with -rose water if your skin is sensitive -neem water if now you are having active acne. Apply just for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water In starting apply once weekly once and gradually increase to weekly twice ▪️For Scalp issues Mix 1 pinch gandhak rasyaana with aloe vera gel Apply this only on affected site Leave for 20 minutes and then wash it off with mild herbal shampoo Apply 2-3 times a week ▪️Important -Always do a little patch test -it should not be kept for long as it will cause dryness -Do not use on open wounds -After washing and drying apply moisturizer ▪️Correcting your Agni (digestive fire ) This is simple yet effective practices as you cannot take heavy medicines this will be best for you Also take sukumara ghrita 1 tsp morning empty stomach As acne will not fully settle if your digestion is not balanced -Have a habit of drinking warm water only throughout the day -have jeera and coriander water Avoid Very spicy fermented food Excess sugar and diary products Right now external purification with digestion correction is what your acne needs Wishing you a good skin😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

Gandhak Rasayan is traditionally meant for internal use, and using it externally is not standard and can sometimes irritate sensitive or inflamed skin—especially oily, acne-prone skin like yours. –You can make a mild sulfur mask: Take a very small pinch of Gandhak Rasayan powder Mix with: Aloe vera gel (best for inflammation) OR Rose water (if skin tolerates it) - Apply as a thin layer only on acne areas - Leave for 5–10 minutes max - Wash with lukewarm water Frequency: 2 times per week (not daily) ----Watch for: Burning Redness Excess dryness → If this happens, stop immediately 2. For scalp acne / folliculitis You can try a mild scalp pack: Pinch of Gandhak Rasayan Mix with: Aloe vera gel OR Neem paste (if available) - Apply only on affected scalp areas - Leave for 10–15 minutes -Wash with a gentle shampoo Frequency: 1–2 times per week

precautions - sulfur sensitivity patch test avoid overuse avoid oily spicy food stop smoking and alcohol advice - includes food that have cooling properties like amvla , coconut water, melons , cucumber , buttermilk, rice , green leafy vegies ,pomegranates , citrus fruits , and shatavari ( asparagus )

The condition you describe a typically view as Pitt cough imbalance with roughdisty or blood impurity sense you mention you cannot take medication orally due to indigestion the focus my shift to external application Can you use it topically? Yes when mixed with right form it helps dry out oily acne Gandhak Rasayan powder For acne-- mix A Pinch with rose water or aloe vera gel apply as a spot treatment for 15 minutes for scalp – mix one teaspoon with two tablespoon of coconut oil Nimbadi chooran- use this powder mix with water as a face wash instead of soap Since you have in digestion your internal fire is weak skin issue even goes more severe with poor digestive fire even if you don’t take gandhak rasayan orally you might consider a very Mild digestive like jeera water throughout the day

Namaste, Your concern — acne on face and scalp with oily skin and inflammation — indicates pitta-kapha imbalance affecting skin and scalp. The focus should be on reducing inflammation, controlling oiliness, and supporting skin healing gently. Gandhak Rasayan is mainly used internally for skin conditions. External use of this medicine in powder form is not generally recommended, as it may irritate the skin, especially in sensitive or inflamed acne. Since you have indigestion, it is better to first correct digestion before considering internal use. Avoid oily, spicy, fried, and processed foods. Keep your diet light and clean. Drink adequate water and avoid touching or picking acne. Use mild, non-chemical cleansers for face and scalp. Ayurvedic medicines with dose and timing (gentle approach): Avipattikar Churna – 1 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water Mahatiktakam Kashayam – 15 ml with equal water, twice daily before food External care: Apply a simple paste of neem powder + rose water on affected areas 2–3 times a week For scalp – use Neelibhringadi Taila 2–3 times a week and wash with mild herbal shampoo These are traditionally used to reduce inflammation, control acne, and support scalp health when combined with proper diet and routine. Once digestion improves, internal medicines like Gandhak Rasayan can be considered under guidance. Improvement is gradual and may take a few weeks. Consultation can help tailor this further to your needs.

1. For Acne (Face & Décolleté) - Mix Gandhak Rasayan powder with rose water or aloe vera gel to make a paste. - Apply thinly on acne-affected areas. - Leave for 15–20 minutes, then wash off with lukewarm water. - Use 2–3 times per week. 2. For Scalp Issues (Inflammation, Pimples, Dandruff-like eruptions) - Mix powder with neem oil or coconut oil. - Apply gently on scalp patches, leave for 30 minutes, then wash with mild herbal shampoo (like shikakai or neem-based). - Repeat once or twice weekly. 3. For General Skin Inflammation - Combine with multani mitti (Fuller’s earth) and rose water for cooling packs. - Helps reduce excess oil and inflammation. ⚖️ Important Notes - Do not use daily on face — it may cause dryness. - Always do a patch test before applying on larger areas. - Avoid mixing with very strong oils (like mustard) on sensitive skin. - Oral use is common in Ayurveda, but since you have indigestion, external application is safer. 🥗 Supportive Routine - Favor light, non-oily diet (steamed vegetables, moong dal, millets). - Avoid fried, spicy, and very oily foods that aggravate acne. - Drink warm water infused with cumin or coriander seeds for gentle detox. - Practice pranayama (Anulom Vilom) for stress-related acne.

Gandhak Rasayan is mainly designed for internal use to purify blood reduce skin inflammation and balance pitta but since you are having indigestion it is right to avoid taking it orally for now For external use you can still take benefit from it but it has to be used carefully because it is slightly heating in nature For acne and inflamed skin you can use it like this take a small quantity of Gandhak Rasayan powder mix with rose water or plain clean water and make a thin paste apply gently over affected areas of face and décolleté keep it for around 10 to 15 minutes then wash with lukewarm water do this 2 to 3 times per week If your skin is sensitive or burning reduce the frequency or mix it with a little sandalwood powder to make it more soothing For scalp issues like inflammation itching or eruptions you can mix Gandhak Rasayan with neem powder and a little water or aloe vera gel apply lightly on affected scalp areas keep for 10 minutes and wash off with mild herbal shampoo do this once or twice weekly At the same time since acne and scalp issues are usually linked with internal heat and digestion you should support from inside without stressing digestion take light warm food avoid spicy oily fried food avoid curd at night reduce sugar and bakery items

Gandhak Rasayna has to be used for internal use rather than external application. Hydration is must while consuming gandhak rasayan. Avoid oily, spicy, fried foods when consuming gandhak rasayan
