I am dealing with this persistent cough that just won’t go away! It started a couple of weeks ago when I caught a nasty cold, and now it’s hanging on like my neighbor’s cat. I read about mulethi powder and how to use mulethi powder for cough, but I’m not sure if I'm doing it right. I've been mixing it with warm water and honey, but I can’t tell if it's really helping. My throat still feels scratchy, and I sometimes get this weird tickle that just makes me cough even more. Like, do I need to take it longer to see results? Or maybe I shouldn’t mix it with honey? I heard some people use it with milk, too. Do you think mixing mulethi powder with milk works better? Ugh, I just want to feel normal again! Any tips on how to use mulethi powder for cough effectively? It would be awesome to know if there are any other remedies I can try along with it.

In such case, milk adds a moisturizing, nourishing quality that may alleviate that scratchy feeling. Add half a teaspoon of mulethi powder to a cup of warm milk and consume before bed.

2. Duration & Consistency: Results can take a little time, typically about a week of consistent use. However, it’s important not to overuse licorice as it can sometimes raise blood pressure, so keep an eye on that, especially if you have hypertension history.

3. Additional Remedies: Consider adding ginger and black pepper to your routine. Ginger tea or fresh ginger infused with honey can be quite effective — it’s warming and pacifies both kapha and vata. Similarly, a small pinch of black pepper with honey helps in clearing mucus.

4. Lifestyle Recommendations: Stay hydrated, avoid cold foods, and rest your voice when possible. Breathe in steam with a few drops of eucalyptus or peppermint oil to help relieve nasal congestion.
