I am really worried about my son who has been dealing with his persistent cough for over a month now. It started off as just a little tickle in his throat, but now it feels like it gets worse every night, especially when we try to sleep. He’s tried a couple over-the-counter syrups, but nothing seems to help long term. My sister mentioned Everest Karpooradi Choornam and said it could be helpful. I did some reading, and it looks like people have had some good results with it for respiratory issues. I haven't tried any Ayurvedic remedies before, and honestly, I'm a bit nervous about how to use it properly. Should we mix it with honey? Or can it be taken just with warm water? I also read somewhere that timing matters a lot, like should we give it to him after meals or before? And what if he has a little bit of mucus, wouldn’t that make it worse? I don’t want to try something that could make it more difficult for him. I just want my son to breath easy again and get some restful sleep, ya know? I feel kinda lost here and really hoping someone could share their insights on how Everest Karpooradi Choornam really works and if it's a safe option for kids like mine. Any tips would be super helpful!

For treating a persistent cough, Everest Karpooradi Choornam can indeed be a useful remedy, especially when dealing with respiratory issues like phlegm, cold, and cough. This choornam is known for its ability to help in pacifying the Kapha dosha — which is often responsible for increased mucus production and a heavier feeling in the chest.

When giving Everest Karpooradi Choornam to your son, it’s usually advisable to administer it with honey.
