The symptoms you describe suggest imbalances in both Pitta and Vata doshas, particularly affecting the head region, leading to headache and nasal concerns. To address the headache, stiffness, and burning sensation, we should focus on pacifying these doshas and enhancing overall health practices tailored to your condition.

First, for the headache and stiffness, perform a gentle massage with warm sesame oil. The oil should be slightly warmed and used to massage the scalp and neck in circular motions, ensuring relaxation and improved circulation. Do this daily, preferably in the evening, to help ease tightness and encourage a restful sleep.

Next, for the burning sensation in throat and blocked nostrils, steam inhalation can be quite beneficial. Use a pot with hot water, add eucalyptus oil, and inhale the steam using a towel over your head. Ensure you’re seated comfortably and inhale for 5-10 minutes. Steam should help to clear nasal passages and soothe the throat.

Dietary changes are equally significant in balancing Pitta. Avoid hot, spicy, and oily foods. Instead, increase cooling, calming foods like cucumber, zucchini, and coconut water. Hydration is crucial; drink plenty of warm, filtered water throughout the day, which aids in flushing toxins and maintaining moisture in the system.

Practicing Pranayama like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) for about 10-15 minutes daily, preferably on an empty stomach, can help stabilize both Vata and Pitta energies. It calms the mind, balances doshas, and enhances respiratory health.

If there’s any persistent or worsening of symptoms, it’s crucial to consult a medical professional quickly as severe headaches and associated symptoms require appropriate care.
