I am really confused about poppy seeds and their benefits. A few weeks ago, I was at this small café and had a bagel topped with what they said were poppy seeds. A friend claimed they were awesome for health, like a superfood or something. But then, I read mixed things online. I noticed I felt a bit different after eating them, like a little more energetic or was that just my mind playing tricks? What are poppy seeds really? Are they safe to eat regularly? Also, I found out they can show up in drug tests! Like, wow, how does something so tiny create such a buzz? Should I worry about that? I mean, I just wanna enjoy my bagels without a side of anxiety, ya know? How do people usually use poppy seeds? Are there any special recipes?
