Hello Mr Mohamad, Since your angioplasty, do you experience fatigue, breathlessness, or chest discomfort during activity? When did your ED symptoms start, and have they worsened over time? Do you still get morning erections or have a reduced libido? Have your medications caused dizziness, weakness, or other side effects? Do you have diabetes or any metabolic disorders? How is your sleep and stress level? These will help determine the best Ayurvedic approach for your condition.
Hello Doctor Since my angioplasty 2 years ago I haven’t yet experienced fatigue, breathing problems or chest discomfort. I rarely get morning erection, once in a while I do get of course my libido is low too. My medications are just normal to me without any dizziness, discomfort or weakness so far there is no sign of side effects besides the ED. I am not diabetic but I am fat. I sleep 7 hours a night and my stress is all about the ED Thank you.
Hello Sir, Your ED looks to be due to Vata imbalance, poor circulation, and stress. Ayurveda can help restore sexual health. Please follow this protocol for sometime- Ashwagandha Churna – 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime after 2 hours of dinner. Shilajit Rasayan Vati – 1 tablet twice daily at 6 am & 6 PM with warm water. Rasayan Churna – 1 tsp with honey daily at 6 am. Weight loss with light meals, walking, and Vajrasana. Mahanarayan oil massage for circulation. Nadi Shodhana Pranayama to reduce stress. Avoid excessive tea, caffeine, or alcohol, as they aggravate Vata and weaken sexual strength. With consistent Ayurvedic practice, your energy, libido, and erection quality will improve naturally
Thank you doctor How long should this be implemented? Regards
Try for at least 3 months. But you should start seeing changes in the first month itself.
Hi Mohamed,
How are you feeling overall since your angioplasty? Have you noticed any changes in your energy levels or circulation since then? Can you describe your experience with erectile dysfunction (ED)? Is it something recent, or have you been experiencing it for a longer period of time?
Hello Doctor My general health condition is good after angioplasty I have once a year heart check up as well. Energy is less on the sexual part. Dear Mohamed,
It’s good to hear that your overall health is stable after angioplasty. Since your ED started about 10 months post angioplasty and you experience weaker erections with occasional arousal, your condition is likely influenced by Vata imbalance, poor circulation, stress, and metabolic sluggishness due to excess weight. Along with above medicines you can try Sit in Vajrasana for 5 minutes after meals to improve digestion and nutrient absorption. Drink 1 cup warm water post meals Avoid cold foods and heavy dinners Oil massage (Abhyanga) with warm Mahanarayan oil to boost circulation, especially on legs, lower back, and abdomen. Morning sunlight exposure (15 mins) • Pre-Breakfast: Soaked 5 almonds + 2 walnuts + 1 tsp pumpkin seeds • Midday: 1 ripe banana + 1 tsp honey + pinch of cinnamon weekly twice • Dinner: Prefer warm, cooked foods over raw salads to avoid Vata aggravation. No mobile screens before bed Massaging feet with warm sesame oil before bed promotes relaxation and deeper sleep. Listening to relaxing music or nature sounds before sleep reduces stress-related ED. Avoid overstimulation from explicit content—rewiring natural arousal patterns will take time. Practice Brahmacharya principles (controlled indulgence)—when the mind is relaxed, sexual health naturally improves. Would love to hear from you in a few weeks about your progress!
So, tackling ED when you’re on medications like blood thinners and stuff can be a bit tricky but lets chat about what ayurveda can do for you. It’s all about getting your balance right, addressing those pesky dosha imbalances and focusing on your overall wellness, right?
You’ve had angioplasty and you’re taking medicines for blood pressure, cholesterol, so first step — any major change, talk it over with your doctor. That’s gotta be your move because you don’t wanna mess with heart stuff, on your own. But Ayurveda absolutely can play a supportive role.
So let’s talk diet. Aim for Vata-pacifying foods. Think warm, cooked meals. Soups, stews, dishes with healthy fats like ghee — they work wonders. Avoid raw, cold foods 'coz they can aggravate Vata, which may hinder your progress. Maybe swap caffeine for herbal teas, like ashwagandha or shatavari. Really helps nourish the tissues.
Exercise, yep, some gentle yoga might help too but don’t push it. Focus on poses that enhance circulation like cobra pose and bridge pose. It’s gentle and can be really effective if done regularly. Remember, yoga’s about relaxation, not stress.
As for herbs, talk with a qualified practitioner about whether Ashwagandha or Gokshura might suit you. They’re famed in Ayurveda for supporting sexual vitality, but again, your medication comes first in the discussion.
Stress reduction is huge — meditation or pranayama can do wonders. Little bit everyday, nothing extreme. Again, aim for balance, you know what I mean?
Treatment customized requires assessing your prakriti (constitutional type) to get an effective plan. So you might wanna consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner who can tailored to fit, not to forget mainline medicine is still central for you to ensure safe navigation through these waters.
Hope this helps a lil’ bit! Always listen to your body and keep your healthcare providers in the loop.
