It sounds like some unpleasant nasal congestion there, it's can be frustrating especially at night when you're trying to rest. It seems like you might be referring to Mukta Vati in relation to the side effects, although your specifics were a bit unsure. Mukta Vati, often used to manage hypertension, includes herbs like Brahmi, Arjuna, and Shankhapushpi, which generally support neurological and cardiovascular health. However, like any herbal formulation, it might interact with your doshas or current imbalances in ways leading to unwanted symptoms. If you've been experiencing side-effects since you started Mukta Vati, it could be your body's unique immune response or constitution reacting to a particular ingredient. Nasal congestion might be related more to increased Kapha dosha, which often blocks the respiratory pathways. Ayurvedic remedies like steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil or hot water infused with Tulsi leaves can naturally help clear the nasal passage. Alternatively, practicing Jal Neti or saline nasal wash can effectively reduce congestion by flushing out irritants. Consider looking at your evening meals too. Heavy or very spicy meals can exacerbate congestion through the night. Aim for lighter, warm meals and use warming spices like ginger or black peppere. Switching gears, for the Mukta Vati's side effects, observe closely whether they improve upon adjusting the dose. Dosha-prakriti alignment is critical — it might be wise to consult a local Ayurvedic expert for tailored recommendations based on your unique physique. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it's crucial to talk with a healthcare professional, immediately, to reevaluate the need for this medication, ensuring your wellness and safety. In some cases, discontinuing may be the best course of action if a specific ingredient is causing reactions. Always keep a sharp eye on your body's signals.
