Long-term Sinusitis and Right-Side Pain Concerns - #49816

I have had sinusitis in my right nostril for a very long time to a point were I thought it was normal not being able to breath out of that nostril. I also 4 years ago got Bell’s palsy also on the right side of my face. Now recently I got saitica you guessed it right side of my body. Saitica has been 3 months whenit dropped me to the ground but at least a year of me going through it without really knowing.

Hi Faisal, Thanks for the clear explanation of your symptoms. I get how annoying it is when issues keep popping up on the same side of your body. But dont worry we are here to help you out😊 Basically, your history points to a pattern on your right side: – Long-term sinus blockage in your right nostril – Bell’s palsy on the right side – Sciatica on the right side In Ayurveda, this suggests an imbalance of Vata and Kapha affecting the Ida–Pingala Nadi balance, mainly on the Pingala Nadi (right side). This can cause: – Ongoing Kapha buildup in your sinuses – Vata blockage in your nerves – Poor circulation and nerve health on the right side This is known as Avarana of Vata by Kapha (where Kapha blocks nerve flow). Why these problems might be linked: Your sinuses, facial nerves, spine, and sciatic nerve are all related through: – Head channels – Marma points – Nadi pathways So, if your right sinus is blocked for a long time: – Toxins build up – Nerve health declines – Swelling spreads → to your facial nerve → to your spinal nerve → to your sciatic nerve So, it could be one thing spreading, not three separate issues. What I think is going on Kapha-Avarita Vata * In Urdhva Jatrugata Pradesha (head) * In Katipradesh (lower back and leg) AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT 1. To clear your blocked right nostril: Anu Taila Nasya Put 2 drops in each nostril. Do this in the morning every day on an empty stomach. (Keep this up for 2–3 months) This should: – Clear your sinuses – Help nerve flow – Prevent Bell’s palsy from coming back 2. For nerve swelling and sciatica: 1. Yograj Guggulu – 1 tablet, twice a day after you eat 2. Dashmool Kwath – 40 ml, twice a day This should help remove: – Kapha blockage – Nerve swelling – Pressure on your sciatic nerve 3. To help your nerves heal: 1. Ashwagandha 500 mg – twice a day 2 Brahmi 250 mg – twice a day These can help rebuild: – Your facial nerve – Your sciatic nerve –The connection between your brain and spine 4. For your chronic sinus issues: 1 Sitopaladi churna– ½ teaspoon, twice a day Take it with warm water after you eat DIET PLAN ❌AVOID – Cold drinks – Curd at night – Ice cream – Fried foods – Staying up late ✅INCLUDE – Warm water – Ginger tea – Steamed veggies – Rice, dal, soups – Turmeric and black pepper Try sleeping on your left side to help drain your right sinus. Important: If this right-side blockage isn’t fixed, it could lead to: –Bell’s palsy coming back –A slipped disc – Ongoing nerve pain So, it’s important to stick with treatment for a while. Your body isn’t weak – it’s blocked up. Once we get rid of the Kapha and get the Vata flowing, you should start feeling better. You can get better! Just stick to this plan consistently for 6 weeks. Try some medicines for 1 month and if you haven’t get relief we want further investigation and panchakarma therapy for sciatica. 1. Danadanayanadi kashayam 15ml + 45 ml lukewarm water before food for 2 weeks. For another 2 weeks, 2. Gandharvahasthadi kashaya same dose. 3. Sallaki plus tablet 1 after food. 4. Anutailam drops 2 in each nostril at empty stomach after a steam inhalation. 5.
