Kumkumadi oil is mainly pitta balancing in property. You can use it in summer. But for your combination skin type, white heads, clogged pores, it is better to use alternative days. Other days prefer Aloe Vera gel. - Use 2 drops at night. - Massage it with palms - Avoid applying as thick layer. ***Your condition indicates mainly mild pitta and kapha imbalance. So for removing excess sebum, you can use multani mitti once per week. Always steam face before mask. - Not overscrub. - Remove it after 10-15 minutes. - Apply Aloevera gel after mask removal. You can also prefer greengram powder instead of soap. But moisturizer is compulsory. Some people can cause rough type skin due to daily usage. ***For internally you can take 1. Manjishta capsules 1 after food. 2. Avipathy choornam 1/2 tsp weekly once 3. Triphala choornam 1/2 tsp at night daily. Take care, Dr. Shaniba

You can definitely use kumkumadi. But the idea is not getting your pores clogged. Wash the face well, use a face pack of raktachandanadi choorna in curd over face for 20 minutes wipe it off, gently foment your face and then apply kumkumadi oil 2-4 drops only at a time every 3 days. Use flora fair cream at bedtime everyday. Take manjistadi kashayam 15 ml twice daily before food mixed with 60 ml luke warm water Kaisora guggulu 2 tablet twice daily before food Triphala churna 1tsp at bedtime with warm water

Dear Madam, Based on your symptoms — pigmentation, dull skin, whiteheads on the chin, blackheads on the nose tip, and open pores — this appears to be a combination skin imbalance with mild internal heat and clogged pores. Since the issue has been present for more than 6 months, both internal and external care are important. Internal Support: • Manjistha (for blood purification) • Sarivadyasava 15 ml with equal water after food (if no acidity) • Avipattikar churna at bedtime if there is constipation or body heat Morning Routine: • Mild herbal cleanser • Rose water • Light gel-based moisturizer • Sunscreen (SPF 30 or above – compulsory to prevent pigmentation worsening) Night Routine: • Cleanse properly • Apply 3–4 drops of Kumkumadi oil and massage gently for 2–3 minutes • Use Multani mitti with rose water twice weekly only on the T-zone Kumkumadi Oil in Summer: Yes, it can be used in summer. Apply only a small quantity at night. If you notice increased oiliness or whiteheads, reduce usage to alternate days. Diet Advice: • Avoid curd at night • Reduce sugar and bakery items • Drink warm water • Include soaked almonds (4–5 daily) If pigmentation is increasing rapidly or acne becomes inflammatory, further evaluation may be required. Please let me know if you have irregular periods, constipation, or sleep disturbances so the treatment can be adjusted accordingly.
