Hi! I’m an assistant to the Ask Ayurveda doctors. I’ve carefully reviewed your question.
I will explain your symptoms through the Ayurvedic perspective so you understand what is happening in your body as a whole.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE) can be understood in Ayurveda as imbalances in the Vata and Pitta doshas. Vata governs movement and nervous system functions, and its imbalance can lead to irregularities in sexual performance, including anxiety and premature ejaculation. Pitta, associated with heat and metabolism, when imbalanced, can cause inflammation and irritability, affecting sexual stamina and performance.
Your use of Shilajit, Safed Musli, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Kaunchbeej are all excellent choices for nourishing the reproductive system and balancing Vata and Pitta. However, it seems these may not be addressing the root of your issues effectively, as indicated by your continued symptoms.
The whole-body connection in Ayurveda suggests that these symptoms are not isolated but part of a systemic imbalance possibly involving stress, lifestyle, and digestion. Ensuring a balanced diet and managing stress are crucial for maintaining reproductive health.
To give doctors a precise and effective treatment plan, your answers to the questions below are essential. Without this information, the recommendations will be more general and less accurate.
Please answer each question as clearly as possible.
1. How long have you been experiencing erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation, and do you notice any time of day when symptoms are worse? 2. How would you rate the severity of your erectile dysfunction, and does it fluctuate with stress or fatigue levels? 3.
