After Snehapana (30 ml at 8:15 AM): -Food should be taken only when natural hunger returns (usually after 2–4 hours or when heaviness reduces). -Do not follow fixed meal time; wait for clear appetite (agni rekha). -First meal should be light and warm like rice gruel (peya) or thin khichdi. -Avoid heavy, fried, cold, or spicy food initially. —If you feel uneasiness or mild bloating, you may take Jeerakarishtam in a small dose (15 ml) with equal warm water, after food.

After 30 ml Snehapana at 8:15 am, take light warm food after 3–4 hours when proper hunger appears. Best: Rice gruel or moong dal soup. Avoid cold, oily and heavy food.

After Snehapana, food should ideally be taken only after the previous ghee/oil is digested and true hunger appears. Since you took 30 ml at 8:15 AM, wait until you feel: clear hunger lightness in the stomach no nausea or heaviness comfortable belching without oily taste For many people with this dose, light food is usually taken after about 3–5 hours, but digestion varies individually. First meal after Snehapana Start with light, warm, easy-to-digest food such as: thin rice gruel (kanji) moong dal soup soft rice with little ghee warm vegetable soup Avoid: cold food/drinks curd fried or spicy food tea/coffee immediately after heavy proteins or bakery foods Important guidelines today Sip warm water through the day Eat only when genuinely hungry Do not overeat even if appetite increases Rest and avoid excessive exercise, daytime sleep, stress, and late-night waking

After 30 ml snehapana at 8:15 AM, wait until the ghee/oil feels digested and natural hunger appears. Usually: • Light hunger may come in 2–4 hours • Take food only after: burping becomes clear no nausea/heaviness appetite feels natural First meal: 👉 Warm, light food only • Thin moong dal khichdi • Warm rice gruel • Warm water Avoid: • Cold food/drinks • Curd, fried food, heavy meals • Tea/coffee immediately after Since you feel slightly uncomfortable, do not force food early. If proper hunger comes around 11:30 AM–1 PM, that is acceptable. Eat small quantity first. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)

Hello, Following Snehapana (internal oleation), the timing of your meal is critical to ensure the medicated ghee is properly digested without creating Ama (undigested toxins). You should not eat according to a fixed clock, but rather according to your hunger signals. Since you took 30 ml at 8:15 am, expect your first meal roughly 4 to 6 hours later, once the ghee has fully assimilated. Wait for the Sign: Only eat when you feel a clear, strong appetite, have a clean tongue, and experience a “belch” that is free from the taste or smell of the ghee. First meal should be very light, warm, and liquid-based. The standard recommendation is Peya (thin rice water) or Vilepi (thick rice porridge) made with old red rice. Avoid Cold water, sleeping during the day, suppressing natural urges, and heavy or oily foods. Sip warm water frequently throughout the day to assist the metabolic process.

After 30 ml snehapana at 8:15 AM, wait until the ghee is properly digested and you feel clear signs of hunger (true appetite), lightness in abdomen, and no nausea/heaviness before eating. For many people after this dose, food may be taken around 12:30–2:00 PM, but please don’t eat just by the clock—eat based on digestion signs. Start with light, warm food only: Rice gruel (kanji) Thin moong dal khichdi Warm rice with little dal Warm water in small sips Avoid today: ❌ Fried food ❌ Curd ❌ Cold drinks ❌ Tea/coffee ❌ Heavy non-veg foods ❌ Bakery items Since you mentioned slight discomfort/bloating: Sip warm jeera/coriander infused water If bloating feels more, your physician may advise mild support like Hingvastak churna (only if already prescribed in your treatment plan) Rest well, avoid daytime sleep, and don’t worry—mild discomfort after snehapana is quite common and usually settles as digestion improves.

Light meals like less oily veggies, chapati (preferable millet ones), dal khichadi. Eat only when you are too hungry. Drink luke warm water. Avoid cold drinks, refrigerated water and sitting right under a fan or in front of the A.C
