I get headache whenever I eat little rich food. What can I do for this?

Whenever I eat rich food then my body produce a lot of acidity and gas. Usually after that I suffer with headache for 2 to 3 days. I eat gastric medicine and painkillers but still the headache last for 2 to 3 days.

Hello Deepak, Your symptoms suggest Pitta and Vata imbalance, causing acid reflux, gas, and headaches after rich food intake. Avoid spicy, fried, and heavy meals and prefer light, easily digestible foods like moong dal khichdi and steamed vegetables. General line of treatment is this- Take Tab Kamdudha 1-1-1 before meals. Take Avipattikar Churna (1 tsp with warm water before meals) to control acidity and Arogyavardhini Vati (1 tablet twice daily) for liver health. Drink coriander-fennel tea after meals to soothe digestion. Headaches from acidity can be relieved by applying sandalwood or rosewater paste on the forehead. Do you also experience bloating, burping, or bitter taste in the mouth? Regular yoga, pranayama (Sheetali, Nadi Shodhana), and early dinner will help prevent these symptoms. Let me know if you need further support!

How can you treat gallstones and gallbladder issues without surgery. High risk patient unable to undergo surgery. Has numerous flare ups with extreme pain and vomitting. Had to be hospitalized on numerous occasions. Irregular heartbeat and two instances of mini stroke

Hello Cleo, For gallstones and gallbladder issues in a high-risk patient unable to undergo surgery, Ayurveda focuses on reducing stone formation, improving bile flow, and managing inflammation naturally. Start with. Syp Bhunimbadi Kwath (15 ml twice daily with warm water) to support liver and gallbladder function. Arogyavardhini Vati (1 tablet twice daily after meals) helps in bile regulation and detoxification. To relieve acute pain, take Shankh Vati (1 tablet as needed with warm water). Liv52 DS (1 tablet twice daily) supports liver health and bile secretion. For digestion and preventing further flare-ups, avoid oily, fried, and heavy foods. Instead, eat light, well-cooked meals with bitter vegetables like karela (bitter gourd) and methi (fenugreek). Drink coriander and fennel seed tea to reduce bloating and discomfort. Castor oil packs on the abdomen help reduce inflammation. Regular warm water intake aids bile flow and prevents stone formation. Since there is a history of irregular heartbeat and mini-strokes, Ayurvedic treatment should be taken under medical supervision. Do you experience nausea and bloating even with light meals? Let me know so I can suggest further dietary modifications.

Male , 51 yrs, Have been having acute gastritis, Frequent body heat, constipation so using Dabur laxative everyday, Fatty liver grade 1 with mean 262 and median 6.9, IQR 9%. Black Patches on toung both the corner sides. Weight has been increasing for the last few months from 65 to 70 kgs. Sleep disturbance every day. Sometimes even after 7-8 hrs sleep don't feel fresh. Feel sick with cough and cold very frequently these days. Dry mouth during night and day at times as well.

Hi Avinash, Can you tell me if you experience any bloating, nausea, or discomfort in your stomach after eating, especially with certain foods? Also, how is your digestion—do you find that you are able to pass stools easily, or is constipation still a frequent issue even with the Dabur laxative? Lastly, have you noticed any increase in your stress levels or emotional well-being, as this can sometimes exacerbate symptoms like poor sleep and digestive issues?

Hello there, Your symptoms indicate chronic gastritis, gut dysbiosis, and a possible irritable bowel issue with a Vata-Pitta imbalance. Since this condition has persisted for 15 years, Ayurvedic treatment should focus on reducing gut inflammation, improving digestion, and healing the intestinal lining. For gas, bloating, and heartburn, take Avipattikar Churna (1 tsp with warm water before meals) to regulate acid production. Shankha Vati (1 tablet twice daily after meals) will help neutralize acidity, while Arogyavardhini Vati (1 tablet twice daily) will balance Pitta and detoxify the liver. For stomach lining repair and gut healing, use Yashtimadhu Churna (½ tsp in warm water before meals) to soothe the stomach lining. Bilva Churna (1 tsp with water) can help reduce diarrhea, and Triphala Churna (½ tsp at bedtime) will support colon cleansing. Since your kidney function is normal but shows mild inflammation, Gokshura Kadha (10 ml twice daily) and Punarnava Mandoor (1 tablet twice daily) can help improve urinary health and reduce burning urination. In terms of diet, avoid wheat (chapati, ugali), coffee, and citrus fruits, as they increase acidity and bloating. Stick to warm, well-cooked foods like rice, moong dal, ghee, and soft vegetables. Drinking cumin-coriander-fennel tea after meals can aid digestion, and practicing deep breathing (Pranayama) and Vajrasana (sitting on heels after meals) can further support gut health. Let me know if constipation or diarrhea is more dominant so that the treatment can be adjusted accordingly.

Hello Aamir, Do you also experience acidity, nausea, or food intolerance? Any mucus in the stools? Have you noticed specific foods worsening your bloating? Your symptoms suggest weak digestion (Mandagni) and an imbalance of Vata in the intestines, possibly triggered by infection and the use of antibiotics. To balance digestion, take Avipattikar Churna (1 tsp with warm water before meals) to regulate acid levels and improve digestion. Hingvashtak Churna (½ tsp with ghee before meals) can help relieve bloating and gas. Syp Zymnet by Aimil - 2 tsp thrice , half hour before meal. Drink CCF (Jeera-Dhania-Saunf) tea after meals for better digestion. Avoid cold, fermented, and heavy foods. Include warm, light meals like moong dal khichdi. If symptoms persist, mild virechan (Panchakarma) may help.
