I have some breathing issues cold and cough on these days...I have inflammation in the chest and gut...So,I decided to take malkangani seed... Please tell me that what quantity should be taken everyday

Do not take Malkangani seeds daily. If you wish to try, limit to 1–2 seeds or a few drops of oil, but this is not a great choice for your problem.

HELLO, For breathing issues with chest inflamamtion, Malkangani should be used very carefully, as it is heating and strong in potency RECOMMENDED DOSAGE -SEED POWDER= 250-500mg once daily -best taken with warm water or honey -preferably after meals Start with 250mg only and observe for 3-5 days DURATION -for mild cold and couh= 7-14 days -Do not continue beyond 3 weeks IMPORTANT NOTE -Since you have chest and gut inflammation Malkangani may increase heat if -you feel burning sensation -acidity increases -mouth ulcers appear If your cough has burning, yellow phlegm, or heat signs this herb is not ideal BEST SUPPORT FOR YOUR SYMPTOMS -Sitopaladi churna with honey -warm turmeric milk at night -avoid cold, fried, and heavy foods If breathing feels tight or wheezy consult doctor immediately DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

Malkani seed powder should never be self medicated, always show to doctor to know the intensity of the problem, and understanding of the problem. Still if you want to consume, start with very low dose of 1/4th tsp. Twice with honey see how you feel for 4-5 days. If no problem you can gradually increase the dose. Do pranamyam lom -vilom kapalbhatti bhastrika daily for 5-10mins twice. Have warm haldi doodh at bedtime. Avoid citrus fruits, cold drink, icecream, sugary foods fried foods.
