Post Operative ureteric surgery recovery - #20644

My mother 78yr,suffered fever one week due to acute cholecystitis and ureteric stone. Now ureteric stone is removed,planned gallbladder surgery at intervals Diabetes control well on medication. For health improvement I need your advice.

Hello She needs adequate rest . Stop oily , spicy and stale food. Give fresh warm food cooked in little cow ghee. Breakfast - Rice kanji / moong soup / boile moong Lunch - soft rice with moong dal .can give rice or jowar roti. Veg like Dudhi, turya, padwal.pumpkin. Dinner- Soft moong dal khichadi. Water booled with coriander seeds and jeeta seeds.

Small, balanced meals every 3–4 hours to maintain energy. Easily digestible foods: Boiled vegetables, oats, khichdi, soups, dal, and curd. Avoid oily, spicy, or fried foods until after surgery. Protein: Add soft protein-rich foods like boiled eggs, paneer, dals, or protein supplements (with doctor’s approval). Hydration: Ensure she drinks enough water — about 1.5–2L daily (unless restricted) Walking daily for about 10 to 15 minutes twice daily
