Namaste
Thank you for sharing your health concern
The way you have described your condition in detail helps me understand, not just your symptoms but also your underlying imbalance which is very most essential during diagnosis and treatment
Nowadays, this symptoms are very common due to our lifestyle and even more common, those with Vata and Pitha prakriti
However, with the personalised care, internal medicine, regulation and external therapist, you can experience significant improvement and long term balance in your system
From your description, it is evident that both Vata and kapha doshas are aggravated
The dryness frizz thinning , and premature greying of hair especially in your Prakruti, suggest that the Rasa and Rakta dhatus are not sufficiently nourished
And is likely shukra dhatu and Ojas depletion too
Which in Ayurveda or connected with vitality and youthful qualities, including hair. Chronic exposure to stress irregular food in Tech disturb sleep and long standing pain, conditions like sciatica can aggravate vata further, especially apana and vyana vata which inturn disturb the metabolic function of pitta causing increase heat, inflammation, and oxidative stress at the scalp level
Premature greying of air in your case seems to be not on the genetic or hormonal, but also deeply connected with chronic pitta imbalance and aggravated mental stress
When pitta accumulate in the blood, it tends to localise in the hair roots leading to early discolouration
On the other hand, excessive vata causes poor nourishment to the hair roots, leading to dryness and hair fall
Diabetes further complicates this
Leading to poor tissue, nourishment, disturbed metabolism, and micro circulatory weakness
All of which affect the scalp and hair health
Diabetes is also considered a disease of ojokshaya and therefore your immunity vitality and regenerative strength or already compromised, making your body
More prone to imbalances and slower healing
Sciatica indicates a deeper chronic Waata disturbance, especially in the Asthi and Majhya Datta, and it reflects that your vata his travelling into deep tissues, it not only affects your spine and legs, but also contribute to anxiety poor, sleep, and overthinking, which again aggravates vata and pitta in a cyclical loop. This is why your hair fall increases during flareups and emotional stress phases.
From Ayurvedic point of view, your condition needs multi dimensional approach
Internally you need rasayana treatment using nourishing cooling and rejuvenating her that also support metabolic balance
At the same time, we must support your diabetic condition with her that regulate blood sugar without causing further dryness or heat in the system
For hair and nerve strength herbs like bringaraja Amla yasthimadu Brahmi And Shatavari are deeply nourishing especially when combined with medicated ghee or milk based preparation
This work on a deeper level to pacify both Dosa while rebuilding rasa Rakta and majja dhatus
I may recommend a combination of classical proprietary formulations like
Bhringarajasava or Brahmi ghrita for internal use and jhatamamsi churna with warm milk, cut bedtime
If sleep and stress remain disturbed
Anu tail for for nasal administration, which will calm the nervous system and promote mental clarity while indirectly benefiting hair roots
For the diabetic part, using mild and safe, anti-diabetics herbs lik gudmar amalaki and Chandraprabha vati in appropriate dosage under monitoring, will help prevent further Dhatu depletionton
Externally oils enrich with bringaraja JataMamsi and coconut base can be very helpful
Gentle massage of these scalp 2 to 3 times a week at night, followed by warm towel fomentation can enhance root strength and circulation
For premature grain, adding a paste of curry leaves and hibiscus to the oil or air pack. Once in a week will help to preserve the natural colour.
Your dad should focus on grounding nourishing and hydrating foods
Home-made warm and freshly cooked meals that are easy to digest should be taken
Include cow ghee regularly along with soaked almonds dates figs can be taken
Avoid cold, dry reheated or steel foods, especially anything fermented or sour
Spices lik fennel caramom coriander cumin should be included in your diet
Try to avoid excessive tea or coffee based drinks and instead shift towards herbal teas like Tulsi Brahmi or guduchi infusion
You should avoid shampooing the air with chemical based products. Use herbal based powder for washing your hair or very mild cleanser that won’t strip your natural oils. Avoid direct sun exposure to Scalp, very hot water, bath, or heavy, dry drying methods
Also avoid using air dryer frequently, all lower your hair
to dry naturally in shade
You must also focus on daily routine to stabilise your doshas
Sleep early by 10 PM and wake by sunrise
Include yoga stretches, like Vajrasana Bhujanga Sana and gentle forwards along with daily walking. Avoid excessive screen exposure and try to spend some quiet time in the early morning or evening. Do pranayama meditation.
Brahmari which are extremely helpful in calming the mind and supporting the hormonal balance
Emotional healing is an equally important part of your Care, overthinking, stress, and separate emotions directly affect the strength of mind and Shukra dhatu we together govern hair health, try writing, spending time in nature or reading uplifting content to stay connected with positive thoughts. Ayurved emotion balance is just. as crucial as physical treatment for long-term results.
I can assure you that with consistent disciplined, Care, your condition can be gradually and significantly improved
Hair fall and premature grain, though disturbing or not irreversible when approved correctly. I encouraged you to stay hopeful and fully committed to this integrated path.

With a combination of Vata and Pitta dosha, hair fall and greying can indeed present a challenge, but with some ayurvedic guidelines, you can manage these concerns effectively. Vata, which represents dryness and air, often leads to brittle and thinning hair, while Pitta, associated with heat, can stimulate early greying. These imbalances are crucial to address, especially considering your diabetes and sciatica, which can exacerbate the problem if not managed well.
First, let’s talk about incorporating daily Abhyanga, a self-oil massage, using a blend of Bhringraj oil and coconut oil. Heat the oil slightly and massage it into your scalp gently. Leave it for at least 30 minutes before washing off. This improves blood circulation, nourish hair follicles, and helps in calming elevated Vata.
For internal nourishment, your diet should be rich in antioxidants. Include foods like amla, which balances Pitta and supports hair health. Also, favor warm, cooked meals over cold, raw ones, as these can aggravate Vata. Increase your intake of whole grains, nuts, legumes, and vegetables like carrots and leafy greens.
Given your diabetes, it’s important to maintain stable blood sugar levels as spikes can impact hair health negatively. Opt for small, frequent meals and avoid processed sugars. This will help moderate both Vata and Pitta imbalances.
Herbs like Ashwagandha and Guduchi are beneficial; Ashwagandha can help in managing stress, while Guduchi aids in detoxifying and supports liver health—all contributing to healthier hair. Consult a practitioner to determine the right dosage suitable for your body constitution.
Lastly, regular yoga practice focusing on asanas that enhance blood circulation to the head, like Ustrasana or Sarvangasana, would be beneficial. Ensuring proper sleep and reducing stress are integral, as both hair health and blood sugar levels are sensitive to these factors.
If hair loss persists, or you notice significant changes, it's prudent to consult a healthcare provider, especially considering your diabetes and sciatica for a more comprehensive assessment.
