Namaste. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is often linked to imbalances in Vata dosha, mental stress, or lifestyle factors that affect Shukra dhatu (reproductive tissue). Since previous treatment did not work, a more personalized and comprehensive approach may be required. Here are recommendations: 1. Ayurvedic Medicines: Ashwagandha Churna: Strengthens Shukra dhatu and reduces stress. Take 1 teaspoon with warm milk twice daily. Shilajit Capsules: Improves stamina and libido. Take 1 capsule daily with warm water. Kaunch Beej Powder: Enhances sexual vitality. Mix 1 teaspoon with milk at bedtime. Vajikarana Rasayana: Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for tailored formulations like Musli Pak or Vasant Kusumakar Ras. 2. Diet & Lifestyle: Eat warm, nourishing foods like almonds, walnuts, ghee, milk, and dates. Avoid processed foods, alcohol, and smoking, as they impair Shukra dhatu. Practice yoga poses like Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand) to improve blood flow. 3. Stress Management: Practice Shavasana (relaxation pose) and Anulom Vilom Pranayama daily to reduce stress, which is a major cause of ED. Ensure sound sleep and reduce work-related stress. 4. Panchakarma: Consider Basti (enema therapy) and Shirodhara for calming Vata and rejuvenating the body. If the issue persists, seek a detailed consultation for customized Vajikarana therapies. With patience and proper care, results are achievable.

I hear you, this must be quite a frustrating and delicate issue for both of you. Erectile dysfunction can have a complex root – physical, emotional, even lifestyle-related. Since you’ve already tried some ayurvedic medicines, let’s look into a few other potential approaches. First off, consider stress. Stress management is key here. Everyday pressures, be it work or other personal concerns, might affect your husband's performance. Yoga and meditation can work wonders for relaxation. Encourage him to try pranayama - Anulom Vilom and Bhramari can really help calm the mind. Little things often make a big difference. Diet’s another area to focus. Feeding the body the right stuff matters. A diet rich in almonds, walnuts, figs can improve vitality. Incorporate ghee in cooking if it’s not part of your meals already – it nourishes the shukra dhatu, essential for reproductive health. He can try ashwagandha and shatavari supplements, known for their aphrodisiac qualities, consult a practitioner for proper dosage. Regular exercise is important too, not just for physical health but to boost confidence. Simple morning walks or light jogging can keep things circulating well. Let’s not forget communication. Sometimes a bit of open, no-pressure talk between partners can relieve tension. Try discussing feelings, fears, aspirations without judgement. If none of this works long-term, it might be worth consulting a different Ayurvedic practitioner. Fresh perspective can bring new insights. Make sure your husband feels comfortable and safe, you’re already doing a great job supporting him. Trust your instinct and give time. All the best.
