Doctors' responses

Hello Thanks for being so open about what you’re going through. I totally get how frustrating and draining it must be to deal with vaginal itching, discharge, and burning for over six months, especially with your thyroid and PCOD issues, and after trying so many medicines without lasting relief. But dont worry we are here to help you out 😊

YOUR CONCERN

* Constant vaginal itching (worse at night) * Some white discharge * Burning feeling in the vaginal area and when you pee * It’s been going on for over 6 months * You’ve tried things like Fluconazole, Allegra, Clotrimazole cream, VegacT (once), and coconut oil (which isn’t helping). * Doctors say it’s a mild yeast infection. * You also have a thyroid problem and PCOD. * Your digestion is generally good.

AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING

In Ayurveda, this sounds like Yonivyapad, which mainly involves:

* An imbalance of Kapha and Pitta doshas (body energies). * Issues with your blood (Rakta Dushti). * Hormone problems because of PCOD and your thyroid. * Your tissues down there getting sensitive and dry from all the antifungal meds. * Weaker natural defenses in your vaginal tissues.

This explains why:

* Tests show the infection is mild. * Medicines only help for a little while before symptoms come back. * The itching is worse at night (when Pitta and Vata are more active). * The burning slowly got worse.

BUT DONT WORRY

This isn’t serious, not cancer, and it’s not because you have poor hygiene. It’s more of a long-term imbalance, not just a simple infection.

WHAT WE NEED TO DO NOW?

* Stop the itching and burning. * Fix the internal Kapha-Pitta imbalance. * Boost your vaginal tissue’s natural defenses. * Balance your hormones (help with PCOD and thyroid). * Keep it from coming back for good.

AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT

INTERNAL MEDICATION

1.Gandhak Rasayan: Take 1 tablet twice a day after meals. (Great for recurring yeast itching).

2.Mahamanjishthadi Kashaya Take 15 ml twice a day with the same amount of water. (Cleanses blood, helps with burning and discharge).

3.Avipattikar Churna: Take ½ teaspoon at bedtime with warm water. (Calms excess Pitta and internal heat).

4.Ashokarishta: Take 15 ml twice a day after meals. (Supports hormone balance and vaginal health).

EXTERNAL CARE

❌ AVOID

* Coconut oil (can make yeast worse). * Using antifungal creams often without advice. * Vaginal washes, soaps, or douches. * Tight, synthetic underwear.

✅ INCLUDE

Triphala + Neem Yoni Wash: Boil 1 teaspoon Triphala and some neem leaves in water. Let it cool and use it once a day only on the outside.

Jatyadi Taila (for outside use): apply little on the outside at night. (Helps with burning and itching)

DIET PLAN

❌Strictly avoid

* Sugar, sweets, chocolate * Baked goods, refined flour * Curd, buttermilk (especially at night) * Cheese, paneer * Very spicy and fried foods

✅ INCLUDE

* Moong dal * Fresh veggies (like bottle gourd, ridge gourd, carrots) * Turmeric * Warm water throughout the day

➡️ Seriously, these diet changes are a must for recurring vaginal itching.

LIFESTYLE AND HYGIENE TIPS

* Keep the area dry. * Change your underwear if you sweat a lot. * Wear loose cotton underwear. * Don’t scratch (it makes the burning worse later). * Deal with stress (stress messes with hormones and makes things worse).

PCOD AND THYROID ROLE

Your PCOD and thyroid issues are big reasons why this keeps coming back. If your hormones aren’t balanced, the infection will just keep showing up, and local treatments won’t cut it. Ayurveda tackles both the cause and the symptoms, which is why it works so well for long-term problems like yours.

You haven’t failed at your treatment; your body just needs a different approach that gets to the root of the issue. Repeated antifungals just weaken your tissues, but Ayurveda helps your body heal and build up its natural defenses. Please don’t try to treat yourself anymore. With the right Ayurvedic plan and sticking to the diet, this problem can be permanently solved.

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

HELLO,

You have been suffering from vaginal itching and white discharge for more than 6 months, which improves temporarily with medicines but keeps coming back. This clears shows that the problem is chronic, not acute

WHY IT IS NOT CURING WITH REEATED ALLOPATHIC MEDICINES -Antifungal medicines like fluconazole kill fungus temporarily -But they do not correct the internal cause -Repeated use weakens local immunity and dries vaginal tissue -Infection becomes low grade but prsistent -That is why doctor’s say “Infection is very less” but symptoms continue

WHY ITCHING IS WORSE AT NIGHT? -At night, Pitta dosha increases -heat,sweating, and dryness increase irritation -chronic infections always worsen at night in Ayurveda

WHY BURNING DURING URINATION HAS STARTED? -Infection + dryness + pitta irritation -Early involvement of Mutravaha srotas (urinary tract)

This condition is mainly

YONI KANDU + YONI SRAVA With associated Kapha predominance-> white discharge, chronicity Pitta association-> itching, burning, night aggravation Vata involvement -> recurrence, dryness after medicines

ASSOCIATED SYSTEMIC CONDITIONS PCOD-> kapha accumulation, hormonal imbalance THYROID DISORDER-> slow metabolism, low immunity

TREATMENT GOALS -remove ama (toxins) -pacify kapha and pitta -correct hormonal imbalance -restore healthy vaginal tissue -prevent recurrence -improve local and systemic immunity

INTERNAL MEDICINES

1) GANDHAK RASAYANA= 1 tab twice daily after meals with lukewarm water for 8 weeks = best for chronic yeast/ fungal infections, works on skin and mucosal tissues, improves local immunity

2) CHANDRAPRABHA VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals with lukewarm water for 8 weeks =reduces burning urination, improves vaginal health, corrects urinary + reproductive tract disorders, supports hormonal balance

3) KANCHANAR GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals for 3 months = essential for PCOD +thyroid, reduces cystic and glandular congestion, improves metabolism, prevents recurrence of infection

4) SHATAVRI CAPSULE= 1 cap twice daily with milk for 3 months =nourishes vaginal tissue, reduces dryness and irritation, restores natural lubrication, balances female hormones

5) NEEM CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily for 6 weeks =natural antifungal and antibacterial , purifies blood, prevents recurrent infection

EXTERNAL TREATMENT

1) VAGINAL WASH -Boil 1 tsp triphala powder in 1 litre water -cool to lukewarm -use once daily external wash only for 7-10 days only =reduces itching, clears discharge, restore vaginal pH

2) LOCAL APPLICATION -stop coconut oil it feeds yeast

USE = JATYADI TAILA OR DILUTED NEEM OIL -apply externally at night only =heals irritated skin, reduces itching and burning

DIET

AVOID -sugar, sweets, chocolates -milk, curd, cheese, panner -bakery, and fermented foods -maida, pizza, bread -cold drinks

These increase kapha and yeast growth

INCLUDE -warm, freshly cooked food -barley, millet, oats -green vegetables -bitter foods- lauki, karela -turmeric + black pepper -warm water throughout day

LIFESTYLE CHANGES -cotton underwear only -keep vaginal area dry -avoid panty liners daily -no scented soaps or washes -avoid excessive washing

YOGA ASANAS -baddha konasana -malasana -setu bandhasana -bhujangasana

PRANAYAM -Anulom Vilom= 10 min daily -Bhramari= calmingg, hormonal balane

HOME REMEDIES -sitz bath with neem water once weekly -drink coriander seed water -turmeric in warm water small quantity

EXPECTED IMPROVEMENT TIMELINE -Itching reduces in 10-14 days -burning reduces in 2-3 weeks -discharge reduces In 3-4 weeks -recurrence prevention = 6-8 weeks

This condition will not cure with short term or single medicine. Because -It is chronic -It is hormonal -It involves local tissue weaknes Ayurveda treats from roots patience and regularity are key

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

Thanks doctor but ghee se koi problem to nhi aayegi?

Your symptoms suggest a chronic recurrent vaginal imbalance rather than an acute infection alone which is why repeated antifungal and antihistamine medicines are giving only temporary relief Night time itching ,burning during urination and minimal discharge despite reports showing mild infection point toward local tissue sensitivity, dryness ,altered vaginal flora and hormonal influence which is commonly seen when thyroid and PCOD coexist.

Frequent use of antifungals can further disturb the natural vaginal environment and increase irritation so continuing the same approach will not give lasting results At this stage the focus should shift from killing infection to healing and restoring the vaginal tissue and correcting internal imbalance

You can start the following Ayurvedic medicines

KANCHANAR GUGGULU two tablets twice daily after food with lukewarm water

STRI RASAYANA VATI one tablet twice daily after food

PATRANGASAVA fifteen ml twice daily after food mixed with equal quantity of water

For local care Wash the vaginal area once daily with freshly prepared PANCHAVALKALA KASHAYA lukewarm Do not over wash or use soaps intimate washes or antiseptics

Strictly avoid applying coconut oil or any oil inside or around the vaginal opening as it can worsen burning and itching in sensitive cases

Keep the area dry wear loose cotton undergarments Avoid tight clothes leggings and synthetic fabrics Avoid sweets bakery items refined flour fermented foods curd cheese and excess fruits Increase warm cooked food vegetables rice dal and adequate water Do not scratch even if itching increases at night Ensure proper control of thyroid and PCOD as hormonal imbalance is a major reason for recurrence

If burning during urination persists do a routine urine test to rule out urinary infection

With regular treatment improvement is usually seen in two to three weeks but complete healing may take six to eight weeks Consistency is the key Avoid switching medicines frequently.

Dr. Sara Garg
I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

Hlo,

I understand how distressing this is, especially when it’s chronic (>6 months) and keeps recurring despite antifungals. Recurrent itching + white discharge + night-time itching + burning on urination, along with PCOD & thyroid, suggests recurrent vaginal candidiasis with pitta-kapha imbalance, local tissue sensitivity, and possible vaginal microbiome disturbance from repeated medicines.

🌿 Ayurvedic Understanding (brief) - Kapha dushti → white discharge, yeast tendency - Pitta dushti → burning, itching, night aggravation - Rasa & Artava dhatu weakness → recurrence - PCOD & thyroid slow metabolism → infection keeps returning

Ayurvedic Prescription (4–6 weeks) 1️⃣ Oral Medicines A. Gandhak Rasayan Dose: 250 mg twice daily After food with lukewarm water ✔ Helps recurrent fungal infections, itching

B. Triphala Guggulu Dose: 1 tablet (500 mg) twice daily After food ✔ Detoxifies, supports vaginal & urinary tract

C. Avipattikar Churna Dose: ½ teaspoon at night With lukewarm water ✔ Reduces pitta → burning & night itching

2️⃣ Local (Very Important) Triphala Yoni Wash Boil 1 teaspoon Triphala powder in 2 cups water Cool till lukewarm Use once daily only (external wash, not deep wash) ✔ Restores vaginal pH, reduces itching

🚫 STOP coconut oil (feeds yeast in many cases) If severe burning: Apply Shatadhauta Ghrita or plain cow ghee Very thin layer, external only, at night

3️⃣ Diet Rules (Crucial for Cure) ❌ Avoid completely for 1 month: Sugar, jaggery, honey Curd, cheese, paneer Bakery, yeast foods Spicy, fried foods ✅ Include: Lauki, tori, pumpkin Moong dal Pomegranate Coconut water (okay)

4️⃣ Lifestyle Cotton underwear only Keep area dry Avoid panty liners daily No soap/gel inside vagina

⚠️ When to Re-check Allopathic Side Please get these tests once if not done: Vaginal swab culture (fungal + bacterial) Urine routine & culture Blood sugar (even if no diabetes)

Persistent burning on urination may mean UTI or vulvodynia, not just yeast.

⏳ Expected Improvement Itching ↓ in 10–14 days Burning ↓ in 2–3 weeks Recurrence control in 4–6 weeks

I UNDERSTAND YOUR PROBLEM AND THIS TYPE OF LONG STANDING VAGINAL ITCHING WITH WHITE DISCHARGE THAT COMES BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN EVEN AFTER ANTIFUNGALS USUALLY MEANS THE LOCAL AREA HAS BECOME VERY SENSITIVE DRY AND IRRITATED AND THE ROOT CAUSE IS INTERNAL HORMONAL IMBALANCE AND HEAT WHICH IS COMMON WHEN THYROID AND PCOD ARE PRESENT THAT IS WHY TEMPORARY RELIEF COMES BUT COMPLETE CURE DOES NOT HAPPEN NIGHT TIME ITCHING AND BURNING DURING URINE PASSING SHOW THAT THE SKIN AND MUCOUS LAYER NEEDS HEALING NOT JUST KILLING GERMS

YOU SHOULD STOP APPLYING RANDOM OILS INSIDE AS THEY CAN SOMETIMES WORSEN MOISTURE AND ITCH

KANCHANAR GUGGULU TWO TABLETS MORNING AND EVENING AFTER FOOD

STRI RASAYANA VATI ONE TABLET TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD

PATRANGASAVA FIFTEEN ML WITH EQUAL WATER TWICE DAILY AFTER FOOD

GANDHAK RASAYAN ONE TABLET AT NIGHT AFTER FOOD

FOR LOCAL CARE WASH ONLY ONCE DAILY WITH PANCHAVALKALA KASHAYA LUKEWARM AND KEEP AREA DRY

WITH REGULAR USE FOR SIX TO EIGHT WEEKS THE ITCHING DISCHARGE AND BURNING REDUCE GRADUALLY AND RECURRENCE STOPS BE PATIENT AS HORMONAL CASES TAKE TIME BUT COMPLETE RELIEF IS POSSIBLE

Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh
I am Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh, born and raised in Punjab where culture and traditions almost naturally guided me toward Ayurveda. From very early days I felt more drawn to natural ways of healing, and this curiosity finally led me to pursue Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh—an institution known for shaping strong Ayurvedic physicians. During those years I learned not only the classical texts and treatment methods, but also how to look at health through a very practical, human lense. For the past five years I worked in clinical practice, where patients come with wide range of concerns—from chronic digestion troubles to autoimmune illness—and I try to integrate both Ayurveda and modern medical knowledge to give them the most complete care I can. Sometimes western diagnostics help me to understand the stage of disease, while Ayurveda helps me design treatment that address root cause. This bridging approach is not always easy, but I believe it’s necessary for today’s health challanges. Currently I am also pursuing higher studies in Panchakarma therapy. Panchakarma is an area I feel very strongly about—it is not just detox, it is a whole system of cleansing, rejuvenation, rebalancing, and I want to deepen my expertise here. In practice, I combine Panchakarma with lifestyle guidance, diet planning, herbal remedies, yoga and mindfulness practices depending on what a patient actually needs at that moment. No two cases are same, and Ayurveda reminds me daily that healing must be personal. My approach is always focused on root-cause management rather than temporary relief. Diet, herbs, therapeutic oils, meditation routines, and simple daily habits—they all work together when chosen rightly. Sometimes results come slow, sometimes faster, but I try to keep care sustainable and compassionate. Helping someone regain energy, sleep better, or reduce pain, that is the real achievement in my journey. And I continue learning, because Ayurveda is deep, it doesn’t finish with one degree or one training, it grow with every patient and every experiance. My specialties lie in treating a range of chronic and lifestyle-related conditions using Ayurveda’s time-tested principles, tailored to each individual’s unique constitution (Prakriti). I have significant expertise in managing digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux, constipation, diabetes, obesity and inflammatory bowel diseases. I also specialize in addressing stress-related and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, and burnout, which are increasingly common in today’s fast-paced world. By integrating therapies like Shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead) to calm the nervous system, Abhyanga (herbal oil massages) to balance Vata dosha, and adaptogenic herbs like Ashwagandha and Brahmi, I help patients achieve mental clarity and emotional resilience. In the field of musculoskeletal and joint health, I excel in treating conditions like arthritis (rheumatoid and osteoarthritis), back pain, sciatica, and sports injuries. Using therapies such as Kati Basti (localized oil retention on the lower back) and potent anti-inflammatory herbs like Guggulu and Shallaki, I focus on reducing inflammation, improving joint mobility, and strengthening tissues. My treatments have helped many patients, particularly those seeking non-invasive alternatives, regain mobility and reduce pain through a blend of internal medications and external therapies. Skin disorders are another key area of my practice, where I address conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and pigmentation issues holistically. By focusing on blood purification and balancing Pitta dosha and detoxifying Panchakarma techniques like Raktamokshana (bloodletting). My approach targets dietary and lifestyle triggers, offering sustainable results for clients who previously relied on temporary solutions like topical steroids. My dual expertise in Ayurveda and modern medicine allows me to create integrative treatment plans that are both effective and safe. I am deeply committed to patient education, empowering individuals to embrace Ayurvedic principles for sustainable health. Through this online platform, I am excited to offer virtual consultations, making the profound benefits of Ayurveda accessible to all. Whether you seek relief from a specific condition or aim to enhance overall vitality, I look forward to guiding you on your journey to balance and well-being with compassion and expertise.

Medicines Gandhak Rasayan: 2 tablets twice daily with warm water. (Specific for chronic itching/fungus). Chandraprabha Vati: 2 tablets twice daily (before food). (Treats PCOD and urinary burning). Khadirarishta: 20ml mixed with 20ml water, twice daily (after food).

External Therapy (For Immediate Relief) Triphala & Alum Wash: Boil 1 tbsp Triphala Powder + a pinch of Alum (Fitkari) in 1 liter water. Strain. Usage: Wash the area with this lukewarm water twice daily. (Alum stops yeast growth instantly).

Jatyadi Tailam: Apply this oil on the itchy areas instead of coconut oil. (Coconut oil retains moisture which fungus loves; Jatyadi heals).

Dietary & Lifestyle Advice You have PCOD; sugar feeds the yeast. Stop sweets and Maida completely or the infection will return. Keep the area dry. Wear loose cotton underwear only. Avoid Curd at night. Drink Buttermilk (Takra) during the day.

Dr. Soukhya Hiremath
I am Dr Soukhya, completed my BAMS degree under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, and sometimes I still can’t believe how fast that year of full-time practice went by… feels like I m still figuring small things while already handling so many female disorders and skin related conditions every day. I work mostly with Ayurveda treatments for gynic cases, hormonal ups-and-downs, chronic skin troubles and a few other things that always need more gentle hands than people expect. I am practicing for a year now, but honestly the learning kind of never stop, each patient shows something new… sometimes I even pause thinking “wait, did I explain that right” and then go again with more clarity. My focus stays on understanding the root-cause, balancing doshas properly, and giving care that feel practical not over complicated. I treated many gynic issues, from irregular cycles to pregnency related discomforts, and a lot of cosmetology concerns too (acne, pigmentation and stuff that people get worried about really quickly!). I am also running offline yoga classes for pregnant women and others too… it started simple but grew into this small supportive space where I see how much differnce breathing and mindful movement makes. Sometimes the schedule gets messy, or I m not sure if the batch timing was perfect, but the sessions still turn meaningful. Ayurveda, yoga, routine corrections — all these tie together in my approach. I try to keep things straighforward, even if my notes get a bit scattered here and there or a comma miss somewhere, but the intention stays steady: help people feel better with methods that respect body’s natural healing.

Dr.

Dr. Shalini Sreedharan
I am an Ayurvedic physician graduated from Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Kerala, and sometimes I still feel that the years I spent learning there left a kind of rhythm in my mind—the way Kerala clinical traditions flow into every thought I have during a consult. I carry that depth of ayurvedic medicine into my practice, mixing it with a slightly modern lens whenever needed, though I admit my thoughts jump around a bit and I end up rewriting a sentence or two while explaining something. My main work sits at the intersection of musculoskeletal health and cosmetic aspects in Ayurveda. It sounds like two different worlds, but clinically they overlap a lot. A joint imbalance shows on the posture, a skin dullness links back to agni, and sometimes a patient tells me one tiny complaint that makes me rethink the whole plan. I pay attention to those small clues even when my notes look a bit scrambled or a comma goes missng somewhere. Panchakarma plays a big role in my approach—deep-acting therapies that work slowly but shift things from the inside. I like understanding why a particular procedure suits one person and not the next, and I sometimes pause midway through planning thinking *wait, that detail matters more than I thought*, then adjust the regimen with more care. Personalized wellness routines also matter a lot to me… diet tweaks, daily habits, simple corrections that people often underestimate. When it comes to cosmetic wellness—radiance, glow, natural rejuvenation—I focus on restoring balance rather than masking the issue. Ayurveda treats beauty as an outcome of internal harmony, and that idea guides most of my choices, even if my words come out a little tangled when trying to explain it fast. My intention is always to help you reach a place where your body feels stronger, lighter, more aligned, and yes, where your natural beauty shows without forcing it. I know healing takes patience, sometimes more than we expect, but I walk through it with you… step by step, with clarity, honesty, and a few typos here and there that sneak in when I’m typing too quick.

Dr. Rajan soni
I am working in Ayurveda field from some time now, started out as a general physician at Chauhan Ayurveda Hospital in Noida. That place taught me a lot—how to handle different types of patients in OPD, those daily cases like fever, digestion issues, body pain... but also chronic stuff which keeps coming back. After that I moved to Instant Aushadhalya—an online Ayurveda hospital setup. Whole different space. Consultations online ain’t easy at first—no pulse reading, no direct Nadi check—but you learn to ask the right things, look at patient’s tone, habit patterns, timing of symptoms... and yeah it actually works, sometimes even better than in person. Right now I’m working as an Ayurveda consultant at Digvijayam Clinic where I’m focusing more on individualised care. Most ppl come here with stress-related problems, digestion issues, joint pain, that kind of mix. I go by classic diagnosis principles like prakriti analysis, dosha imbalance and all, but also mix in what I learned from modern side—like understanding their lifestyle triggers, screen time, sleep cycles, food gaps n stress patterns. I don’t rush into panchakarma or heavy medicines unless it’s needed... prefer starting with simple herbs, diet change, basic daily routine correction. If things demand, then I go stepwise into Shodhan therapies. My goal is to not just “treat” but to help ppl know what’s happening in their body and why its reacting like that. That awareness kinda becomes half the cure already. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes ppl don’t follow what you say, sometimes results are slow, and yeah that gets to you. But this path feels honest. It’s slow, grounded, and meaningful.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Jatin Kumar Sharma
I am a BAMS graduate and currently running my own clinic, where I see patients on a regular basis and try to give them honest, practical care. My daily work involves understanding different health concerns, listening properly to what the patient is going through, and then planning treatment in a way that actually fits their routine. I believe treatment should not feel confusing or rushed, and sometimes even small changes make a big difference. Running my own clinic has taught me a lot about responsibility and consistency. Some days are busy, some are slow, but every patient brings a different challenge and learning. I focus mainly on Ayurvedic treatment methods, lifestyle correction and long-term health balance, rather than quick fixes. There are times when progress takes longer, but I stay patient and keep working with the person step by step. I try to keep my approach simple, practical and honest. For me, real success is when a patient feels better in daily life, sleeps better, eats better and slowly regains balance. That is what keeps me going and improving every day.

Dr. Pawan Kumar
I am a dedicated Ayurvedic physician trying to blend traditional healing wisdom with the practical side of modern medical principles, and honestly some days I feel like I’m juggling two mindsets at once. I stay strongly committed to preventive healthcare and holistic wellness, because most patients come in with things that started long before the symptoms showed up, even if they don’t realise it. Sometimes I pause mid-consult thinking *wait, did I explain that right…?* but then I go on because clarity matters more than perfect phrasing. My work focuses on managing both chronic and acute conditions with a patient-centered approach that’s compassionate but still evidence-informed. I look closely at digestion patterns, sleep cycles, emotional load, those tiny habits that people forget to mention until the very end of the conversation. A missed comma in my notes or a slightly messy sentence happens,, yet the intention stays steady—to understand the root of the issue, not just list symptoms. I try to integrate classical Ayurvedic diagnostics with updated clinical reasoning, adjusting treatment plans when a patient’s routine doesn’t quite match the textbook flow. Sometimes I rethink a plan halfway because a stray detail suddenly makes sense, and yes that back-and-forth feels a bit chaotic but it actually makes the care more personal. Preventive guidance forms a big part of my consultations: diet changes, lifestyle tuning, simple daily routines that reduce long-term risk. People often expect complicated solutions, but I remind them that small shifts work better—though I might stumble over a word or two while explaining! My aim is always to create a space where healing feels approachable and real. Not polished, not rushed, just thoughtful Ayurveda blended with practical understanding of modern healthcare… even if a typo sneaks in or a thought drifts sideways for a moment.

Dr. M.Sushma
I am Dr. Sushma M and yeah, I’ve been in Ayurveda for over 20 yrs now—honestly still learning from it every day. I mostly work with preventive care, diet logic, and prakriti-based guidance. I mean, why wait for full-blown disease when your body’s been whispering for years, right? I’m kinda obsessed with that early correction part—spotting vata-pitta-kapha imbalances before they spiral into something deeper. Most ppl don’t realize how much power food timing, digestion rhythm, & basic routine actually have… until they shift it. Alongside all that classical Ayurveda, I also use energy medicine & color therapy—those subtle layers matter too, esp when someone’s dealing with long-term fatigue or emotional heaviness. These things help reconnect not just the body, but the inner self too. Some ppl are skeptical at first—but when you treat *beyond* the doshas, they feel it. And I don’t force anything… I just kinda match what fits their nature. I usually take time understanding a person’s prakriti—not just from pulse or skin or tongue—but how they react to stress, sleep patterns, their relationship with food. That whole package tells the story. I don’t do textbook treatment lines—I build a plan that adjusts *with* the person, not on top of them. Over the years, watching patients slowly return to their baseline harmony—that's what keeps me in it. I’ve seen folks come in feeling lost in symptoms no one explained… and then walk out weeks later understanding their body better than they ever did. That, to me, is healing. Not chasing symptoms, but restoring rhythm. I believe true care doesn’t look rushed, or mechanical. It listens, observes, tweaks gently. That's the kind of Ayurveda I try to practice—not loud, but deeply rooted.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I am a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician practicing since 1990—feels strange saying “over three decades” sometimes, but yeah, that’s the journey. I’ve spent these years working closely with chronic conditions that don’t always have clear answers in quick fixes. My main work has been around skin disorders, hair fall, scalp issues, and long-standing lifestyle stuff like diabetes, arthritis, and stress that kinda lingers under everything else. When someone walks into my clinic, I don’t jump to treat the problem on the surface. I start by understanding their *prakriti* and *vikriti*—what they’re made of, and what’s currently out of sync. That lets me build treatment plans that actually *fit* their system—not just push a medicine and hope it works. I use a mix of classical formulations, panchakarma if needed, dietary corrections, and slow, practical lifestyle changes. No overnight miracle talk. Just steady support. Hair fall and skin issues often feel cosmetic from outside—but internally? It’s about digestion, stress, liver, hormones... I’ve seen patients try 10+ things before landing in front of me. And sometimes they just need someone to *listen* before throwing herbs at the problem. That’s something I never skip. With arthritis and diabetes too, I take the same root-cause path. I give Ayurvedic medicines, but also work with *dinacharya*, *ahar* rules, and ways to reduce the load modern life puts on the body. We discuss sleep, food timing, mental state, all of it. I’ve also worked a lot with people dealing with high stress—career burnout, anxiety patterns, overthinking—and my approach there includes Ayurvedic counseling, herbal mind support, breathing routines... depends what suits them. My foundation is built on classical *samhitas*, clinical observation, and actual time with patients—not theories alone. My goal has always been simple: to help people feel well—not just for a few weeks, but in a way that actually lasts. Healing that feels like *them*, not just protocol. That’s what I keep aiming for.

Dr. Ravi Chandra Rushi
I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

Dr. Anjali Sehrawat
I am Dr. Anjali Sehrawat. Graduated BAMS from National College of Ayurveda & Hospital, Barwala (Hisar) in 2023—and right now I'm doing my residency, learning a lot everyday under senior clinicians who’ve been in the field way longer than me. It’s kind of intense but also really grounding. Like, it makes you pause before assuming anything about a patient. During my UG and clinical rotations, I got good hands-on exposure... not just in diagnosing through Ayurvedic nidan but also understanding where and when Allopathic tools (like lab reports or acute interventions) help fill the gap. I really believe that if you *actually* want to heal someone, you gotta see the whole picture—Ayurveda gives you that depth, but you also need to know when modern input is useful, right? I’m more interested in chronic & lifestyle disorders—stuff like metabolic imbalances, stress-linked issues, digestive problems that linger and slowly pull energy down. I don’t rush into giving churnas or kashayams just bcz the texts say so... I try to see what fits the patient’s prakriti, daily habits, emotional pattern etc. It’s not textbook-perfect every time, but that’s where the real skill grows I guess. I do a lot of thinking abt cause vs symptom—sometimes it's not the problem you see that actually needs solving first. What I care about most is making sure the treatment is safe, ethical, practical, and honest. No overpromising, no pushing meds that don’t fit. And I’m always reading or discussing sth—old Samhitas or recent journals, depends what the case demands. My goal really is to build a practice where people feel seen & understood, not just “managed.” That's where healing actually begins, right?

Dr. Iravathi Adepu
I am working in Ayurveda with a kind of steady focus on really seeing what each patient needs, and I usually start from the classical principles—trying to understand the dosha shifts, the nidana behind their troubles, and why the body reacting in that particular way. From there I put together indivdualised plans, mixing Panchakarma when needed, diet changes, herbal meds, lifestyle modifications… sometimes all together if the case feels layered or chronic. I manage a wide mix of issues—like acute digestive flares, long-standing arthritis pains, different types of skin problems, and these growing lifestyle disorders that so many ppl struggle with. A lot of time goes into explaining things too, helping them follow small steps like Dinacharya or Ritucharya without feeling pressured. I kinda feel that education is half of the treatment in Ayurveda, honestly. I also consult for clients from other countries, where the main work becomes guiding them towards practical Ayurvedic routines they can actually do where they live. And at times I design whole rejuvenation or lifestyle programs, trying to align diet, yoga, daily habits, stress-handling strategies… the whole picture, not just the medicine part. Some days it flows easily, some days I tweak the plans three times until they makes sense. There’s also the follow-up part, which I try to take seriously because holistic healing isn’t instant. I keep track of how their sleep, digestion or mental ease is shifting, and if something not working, I change it without waiting too long. I like staying involved that way, supporting them through the process rather than handing a plan and stepping back. Maybe I overdo it a bit, but to me it feels right. And somewhere in all this, I keep reminding myself that Ayurveda works best when treatment is personal and humane, even if the days get a little chaotic or the schedule runs longer than I excpect.
