Sir, when i am standing or walking for 2 to 3 minute i, feel pain in my right side leg musle, if i will sit 2 to 3 minutes again i am able to stand or walk for again for 2 to 3 minutes and felt same pain after 2 to 3 minutes standing or walking . Plz show me way to get relief from this and strengthen my legs for walk or stand

Hello, Your symptoms are very important to note carefully -pain starts after walking/standing for a few minutes -relieves by rest -located in calf -associated with numbness/ tingling -long duration (>6 months) This can indicate poor blood circulation + nerve involvement + muscle weakness. In Ayurveda, this is mainly related to vata imbalance (especially vyana + apana vata ) with muscle weakness Internal medications 1) Yogaraj guggulu= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =for vata + joint/ muscle pain 2) Dashmoola kashaya= 15ml + equal water twice daily before meals =reduces inflammation and improves circulation 3) Ashwagandhadi lehyam= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =strengthens muscles and nerves These help in -reducing pain -improving nerve conduction -strengthening muscles External therapy 1) Daily oil massage -use Mahanarayan oil -massage whole leg especially calf for 15 min -always massage upward direction =improves blood flow, reduces stiffness and pain, nourishes muscles Follow with -hot water steam or hot towel Simple Home remedies -drink 1 glass warm milk + 1 tsp turmeric at night -take 1 tsp ghee daily lubricates joints and nerves -soak 5 almonds overnight -> eat in morning Exercise start slowly Since you’re sedentary , don’t overdo -calf stretching you already feel relief-> continue -ankle rotations 10-15 times -walking practices= start 2-3 min walk, rest, gradually increase time daily This is crucial for long term improvement Diet -warm,fresh food -ghee, milk -moong dal, soups Avoid -dry, cold, packaged food -excess tea, coffee -long fasting Your symptoms pain on walking + relief on rest + numbness can also indicate -sciatica -lumbar nerve compression -peripheral artery disease (circulation issue) -So dont rely only on home treatment Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you

This can be caused by: ​Dhatu Kshaya: Weakness or depletion of muscle tissue. ​Margavarodha: Obstruction in the channels (circulation), often due to accumulated toxins (Ama). ​Vyanavata Imbalance: The subtype of Vata responsible for circulation and muscular contraction is not functioning optimally. ​The goal is to provide Brimhana (nourishment) to the muscles while using Vata-hara (Vata-pacifying) treatments to soothe the nerves. ​To manage this, a combination of internal nourishment and external oil application is typically effective. ​Internal Treatment 1. Dhanwantharam Kwath (Tablets) This is a premier Vata-pacifying formulation used specifically for musculoskeletal health and nerve strength. ​Dose: 2 tablets twice daily, taken 30 minutes before food with warm water. ​2. Balarishta A fermented liquid preparation that acts as a powerful restorative tonic for the muscles and nervous system, improving overall leg strength. ​Dose: 20 ml twice daily, mixed with an equal quantity of lukewarm water, taken after meals. ​External Application 3. This pattern of pain — starting within few minutes of walking/standing and getting better on sitting — is not just muscle weakness. It is usually due to reduced blood flow or nerve compression, so only “strengthening” exercises will not solve it unless circulation improves. First understand this clearly, then work step by step. Do not force walking through pain. Walk for 2–3 minutes, rest, then walk again. This interval walking slowly improves circulation over time. Avoid long standing. Keep changing position. While resting, keep your leg slightly elevated. Daily apply warm Mahanarayan taila or Sahacharadi taila on the calf and do gentle massage, followed by mild heat. This helps reduce tightness and improves blood flow. For strengthening, start very mild exercises. Ankle movements, slow calf stretching, and short walks are enough in the beginning. Do not do heavy exercise or strain. Diet should be warm and nourishing. Include 1–2 tsp ghee daily. Add garlic in food. Avoid very dry, cold, and processed food. Keep good hydration. Medicines: Yograj guggulu 2 tablets twice daily after food. Mahayograj guggulu 1 tablet twice daily after food. Dashmoolarishta 15 ml with equal water twice daily after food. Ekangveer ras 1 tablet twice daily. These help improve nerve function and circulation gradually. At the same time, it is important to get a Doppler test of leg vessels or spine check, because if there is blockage or nerve compression, treatment needs to be adjusted accordingly. With proper care and gradual training, walking capacity can improve.
