Back pain accompanied by radiating leg pain and a burning sensation can often align with a condition known as sciatica, which results from compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve. The escalation in your symptoms suggests that further assessment by a healthcare professional is warranted, especially if medication hasn’t improved your condition.

Regarding Ayurveda, it’s important to balance your doshas, particularly Vata imbalance, which is often linked to nerve pain. Here are some suggestions til you can see your physician again:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Incorporate warm, nourishing foods. Favor a diet that includes healthy fats like ghee and coconut oil. Avoid cold and dry food that may further aggravate Vata. Include ginger or turmeric to reduce inflammation naturally.

2. Herbal Remedies: Consider herbs such as Ashwagandha, which helps to calm the nerves and alleviate pain, or Boswellia, known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Before starting any herb, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider.

3. Warm Compress: Applying a warm compress or taking warm baths may ease muscle tension and nerve irritation. Try this for 15-20 minutes several times a day.

4. Gentle Exercise: Focus on gentle stretches and avoid strenuous activities. Yoga poses such as Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) or gentle forward bends might provide relief. Make sure to avoid any posture that exacerbates the pain.

5. Lifestyle Modifications: Ensure you’re maintaining a regular sleep schedule, as rest is pivotal for healing. Avoid sitting for prolonged periods and consider using a supportive chair.

6. Pranayama (Breathing Exercises): Practice deep breathing exercises like Nadi Shodhana to balance the nervous system and reduce stress.

Immediate evaluation by a healthcare provider is crucial if symptoms persist or worsen. This guide is supplementary and should not replace professional medical advice.

The combination of back pain, leg pain, and burning sensations could be indicative of a nerve compression issue, possibly sciatica, which is a common concern when the sciatic nerve is irritated. Inflammation in the right hand joint could be coincidental or part of a systemic issue affecting multiple joints like rheumatoid arthritis. The choose of treatment in Siddha-Ayurveda should aim at reducing this discomfort and address underlying doshic imbalances, which may be primarily from vata or even pitta disturbances.

First, let’s address the pain and burning the priority should be to facilitate nerve comfort and reduce inflammation. Applying a warm sesame oil massage to the affected areas could help soothe tension and calm vata. Add a pinch of turmeric to the oil to amplify its anti-inflammatory properties. Do this daily, ideally before a warm bath or shower.

You should also consider incorporating a decoction of Dashamoola (ten roots) which helps remove deep-seated vata dosha and provides relief from pain. Take these at the prescribed dosage from a local Ayurvedic physician, as formulations may vary.

Diet plays a vital role, so make sure to consume vata-pacifying foods like warm soups and stews seasoned with digestive spices like ginger and hing. Avoid cold foods and excessive caffeine, which may aggravate symptoms.

If your symptoms persist or worsen, it’s crucial to visit a healthcare provider, as severe pain radiating down the leg could indicate significant nerve pressure needing urgent intervention. Ayurveda can be a supportive component of a comprehensive treatment plan but recognizing when immediate medical evaluation is needed is essential for your safety.
