Hello Smriti, these are typical symptoms of Cervial spondylosis caused due to Vata aggravation. You can try these treatments-Oil Massage (Abhyanga): Massage neck and shoulders with warm Mahanarayan oil or Sesame oil daily. Pinda Sweda: Consult for this therapy using warm herbal boluses. Dietary Recommendations:

Focus on calcium and vitamin D-rich foods (dairy, leafy greens, nuts). Avoid spicy, oily, and acidic foods to manage acidity. Lifestyle Changes:

Practice good posture, especially when sitting for long periods. Incorporate gentle yoga/stretching (e.g., Cobra Pose, Child’s Pose) to improve flexibility. Cap Cervilon 1-1-1 after food can help in reducing the symptoms.

Your symptoms of neck stiffness, burning, and pain radiating to the scapula, arm, and breast, alongside the MRI findings of a C5-C6 disc bulge, indicate that there may be nerve compression or irritation occurring in the cervical spine. The shifting of the bulge from the left to the right side can contribute to your ongoing discomfort. The normal test results, except for low vitamin D3, suggest that while structural issues exist, there may not be significant systemic problems.

In Ayurveda, managing your condition can involve a combination of dietary, lifestyle, and herbal interventions aimed at alleviating pain, improving mobility, and addressing any underlying imbalances. Incorporate warm, anti-inflammatory foods like ginger, turmeric, and mustard oil into your diet, as these can help reduce inflammation and stiffness. Daily practices such as Mardana (gentle massage) using warm sesame oil infused with herbs like ashwagandha and guggulu may provide relief from pain and stiffness.

Additionally, consider engaging in gentle yoga or stretches focusing on neck and shoulder mobility, which can promote blood circulation and reduce stiffness. Basti (medicated enema) and Kati Basti (localized oil treatment on the lower back) can also be beneficial in addressing spinal health. Regularly practicing deep breathing exercises and maintaining proper posture, especially during prolonged sitting, can help manage acidity and contribute to overall well-being.

It sounds like your neck stiffness and burning sensation spreading to the scapula, arm, and breast area could be linked to the c5 c6 disc bulge. This may be precipitating nerve irritation or pressure, causing the symptoms you’re experiencing. But guess what? From an Ayurvedic perspective, there’s a lot we can do to help balance and improve your condition.

Let’s take this step by step. The disc bulge at c5 c6 is likely intensifying Vata dosha, which causes pain, stiffness, and kind of scattered symptoms. Acidity points towards Pitta imbalance too. So, focusing on balancing both doshas is crucial here.

Start with daily Abhyanga (oil massage), using a warming oil like sesame or mahanarayan oil. Massage your neck, shoulders and upper back gently for about 15 minutes before a warm shower. It aids in reducing stiffness and calming Vata. When doing this, be gentle with the pressure, especially around the affected area.

For dietary adjustments, favor warm, cooked, and nourishing foods that pacify both Vata and Pitta. Include ojas-enhancing foods like milk, almonds, dates, and ghee. Stay away from spicy, oily foods and too much caffeine to avoid exacerbating acidity and Pitta.

Vit D3 deficiency might need an ongoing supplementation, but also try to get safe sun exposure around mid-morning if possible. It’ll help in synthesis of vitamin D naturally.

For acidity, try sipping warm water with a bit of cumin seeds or fennel seeds throughout the day. Also, Triphala churna, taken at night with warm water, can aid digestion and eliminate toxins gently.

Posture matters, so check how you sit at work or home. A good ergonomic chair, regular breaks, and a little neck stretches or rotations every hour can make a big difference.

If any symptom worsens, always consider seeing a medical professional. These are the basics, but applying them could possibly help ease your discomfort. Take it slow, and be patient with the process.
