Hello
Thanks for telling me about what’s going on. Since you’re a musician and dancer, your hands, ankles, and tendons are super important! The good news is that your pain is still pretty mild, so Ayurveda can really help protect you.
YOUR CONCERN
– Arthritis mainly in your hands
– Some ankle pain
– Old Achilles tendon issue (6 years ago)
– It gets worse in winter and when it’s cold
– Castor oil and warmth help
– Pain is around a 1–3 out of 10
Basically, it looks like a Vata thing happening in your joints, with some tendon weakness thrown in.
AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING
The cold, dryness, being too active, and that old injury have caused:
– Vata to build up in your joints
– Not enough joint lubrication
– Tendons getting weaker
– Not-so-great blood flow
That’s why you’re feeling stiff, have some pain, and it’s worse in the winter.
The Plan:
– Get those joints lubricated
– Make your tendons stronger
– Stop things from getting worse
– Keep your hands and ankles nice and flexible
– Keep your career going strong!
AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT
INTERNAL MEDICATION
1. Yograj Guggulu 2 tablets, twice a day after you eat
2. Ashwagandha capsule 1 capsule, twice a day (great for tendons and energy!)
3. Dashamoolaristha 30 ml once a day (helps with Vata swelling)
EXTERNAL CARE(Really important!)
Instead of just plain castor oil, try this:
Mahanarayan Taila
Massage your hands, ankles, and Achilles tendon every night. Then, put a warm cloth on them for about 10 minutes.
DIET PLAN
✅INCLUDE
– Ghee
– Warm soups
– Milk
– Rice
– Almonds
❌Avoid
– Cold food
– Dry food
– Too many raw salads
– Staying up late
Wear socks and gloves when it’s cold.
Important for you (dancer):
Don’t jump around when your joints are cold. Always warm up for 10–15 minutes before dancing.
What to Expect:
If you take care of yourself:
– Winter pain should be way better (like 70–80% less)
– Your tendons will get stronger
– Less stiffness
– You’ll stay mobile for a long time
You don’t have the really bad arthritis – it’s just Vata causing some wear and tear, which Ayurveda is great at handling!
Warm Regards
