Hi,

Looks like you are chronic allergy to some sort of dust or pollen. Because of which you are getting this sneezing, running nose etc.

Please go to the nearest hosp and make the pus drain from ear.

Hello Ayeda, Thank you for sharing these details. To understand your condition better, could you provide more information about how long you’ve been experiencing the fungal ear infections and if you’ve tried any treatments so far? Have you noticed any other symptoms related to the sinuses, like headaches or facial pain? Regarding hypothyroidism, are you currently on any medication for it, and have you had recent thyroid function tests? Also, could you describe your diet, lifestyle, and stress levels, as these factors can impact both thyroid health and immune system function? It would also be helpful to know if there’s a family history of thyroid issues or chronic ear, nose, and throat conditions.

Dealing with a combination of fungal infections in the ears, sinus issues, and hypothyroidism requires a comprehensive Ayurvedic approach. Each of these conditions have unique causes but can be interrelated. In Ayurveda, they’re commonly attributed to an imbalance in Vata and Kapha doshas. Here’s what can be done:

For fungal infections in the ears, maintaining ear hygiene is crucial. Prepare a few drops of warmed sesame oil combined with neem oil – these have antifungal properties. Apply gently using a cotton ball, but avoid any direct and deep application. Also, keep your ears dry after bathing; simply use a soft towel. A mild herbal wash using a decoction of Triphala might help in general ear hygiene too.

Your sinus issue, with symptoms like runny nose and sneezing, suggests an aggravated Kapha. You can make an herbal steam inhaler by boiling water with a few eucalyptus leaves or tulsi. Inhaling this can clear sinus congestion. Limiting dairy and cold foods would reduce Kapha accumulation, helping to keep your nasal passage clearer.

With hypothyroidism contributing to weight gain, the focus is on stimulating Agni, the digestive fire. Start your day with warm lemon water mixed with a teaspoon of honey. Include ginger and turmeric in your diet to stimulate metabolism. Regular yoga, focusing on forward bends like Sarvangasana or Matsyasana, can be particularly beneficial to enhance thyroid function.

Diet-wise, favor light, easily digestible foods mainly warm meals. Oily, fatty foods should be reduced, and favor more fruits and vegetables. Drink Teas brewed with cinnamon or triphala for their healing properties and gentle support to digestive health.

These suggestions are meant to complement your current medical care, not replace it. For the fungal infection and hypothyroidism, ensure you’re under a doctor’s supervision. If symptoms persist or worsen, getting professional medical help is crucial. Remember, consistency is key when integrating Ayurveda into your daily life, and results take time.
