Calcium and iron supplements should not be consumed together as there are drug interaction between two of them but I don't think there will be any drug interaction between Flagyl and iron supplements but kindly confirm with allopathic practitioner

active vitamins and minerals lycopene I want to take this one
If you leave gap and take , there is no harm, leave gap of atleast 1 hour , so that the previous medicines which you have taken will be absorbed already , and doesn’t do any interaction with the other drug

Taking iron supplements alongside Flagil and Nexium, can indeed pose a few considerations you should be aware of The absorption of iron supplements might be affected by these medications. Flagyl (also known as Metronidazole) doesn't directly interact with iron, but Nexium (esomeprazole), which is a proton pump inhibitor, can reduce stomach acidity. This reduced acidity can potentially impede the absorption of iron. When it comes to taking iron supplements, timing, and method of administration is essential to maximize absorption and minimize potential interactions. Ideally, iron is best absorbed on an empty stomach, so it's recommended to take it about one to two hours before meals or two hours after meals the timing should be balanced with your comfort levels since iron supplements can sometimes cause stomach upset. Considering the medications you're on, it might be wise to take iron separately from Nexium. Try to space them out by at least two hours. For instance, if you take Nexium in the morning, consider taking your iron supplement at midday or late afternoon. Additionally, certain foods and beverages - like coffee, tea, dairy, and foods high in calcium - can also interfere with iron absorption When consuming iron, pair it with a source of vitamin C, like a glass of orange juice or a small serving of citrus fruits, as vitamin C enhances iron absorption. If you notice any side effects or if you're unsure how to best schedule these medications alongside your meals, definitely reach out to your healthcare provider or a nutritionist, to address them together with you. They could offer specific advice tailored to your unique health conditions & ensure you're getting the most benefit from your supplements and medications.
