Doctors’ responses

Have you consulted neurologist related to this problem, if not it’s better to evaluate first to know what’s the exact reason for tinnitus,as you are telling it was followed by dizziness and vomiting

Because it isnt chronic do- 1.Nasya Therapy-Use Anu Taila – 2 drops in each nostril every morning. 2. Karna Purana (Ear oiling) –witj Warm Bilva Taila or Kshara Taila – 2–3 drops in the affected ear (once daily) for 7 days. 3.Steam Inhalation -Add a few Tulsi or mint leaves to hot water and inhale steam – 5–10 minutes once daily. You can consult an ayurved ENT for this Diet & Lifestyle:Avoid cold, stale, fermented, or heavy food. Avoid exposure to loud noise and cold air directly into ears.

Your symptoms, especially the buzzing in the ear, partial hearing loss, and associated dizziness, might be indicative of a few possible concerns such as tinnitus or some issues with the inner ear, possibly Eustachian tube dysfunction. It's essential to identify if this might relate to a condition like Meniere’s disease or a temporary blockage due to earwax or inflammation. In Ayurveda, the ear issues can sometimes link to Vata dosha imbalances. Let's explore a few recommendations that might support normalization. Remember, these are complementary suggestions and not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. 1. **Nasya (Nasal Therapy):** You can try applying anu taila in the nostrils. Gently warm the oil and place 2-3 drops into each nostril. This may help balance Vata and indirectly clear up ear passages. Do this in the morning on an empty stomach. 2. **Dietary Adjustments:** Avoid foods that aggravate Vata like dry, cold or processed foods. Include warm, moist, and lightly spiced foods to help pacify Vata. Stay hydrated and avoid caffeine, alcohol, and overly salty foods that might worsen tinnitus. 3. **Ear Oil Application:** Til Oil (Sesame) warmed slightly and applied around the ear, not directly inside, can sometimes help in easing symptoms. Massage it gently around the ear for a few mins. 4. **Grounding Practices:** Grounding techniques, such as regular yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation can assist in balancing Vata and reduce dizziness. Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, might be especially helpful. 5. **Hydration & Rest:** Make sure you're well-hydrated and get ample rest. Dehydration or exhaustion can often exacerbate Vata-related symptoms. Given the seriousness of your symptoms, particularly the hearing loss and dizziness, it's crucial to consult with an ear specialist or an ENT surgeon for an in-depth evaluation. Immediate medical attention is necessary to rule out any serious underlying conditions and to make sure there’s no damage to the auditory structures. The remedies above can be supportive, but they shouldn't replace professional medical assessment and care.
