Hello Kindly consult gynecologist, and do pregnancy test and USG ,to see whether pregnant or not.
While a missed period can be stressful, it isn’t always a sign of pregnancy, especially if your test came back negative. There are several potential reasons for a late or missed period according to Ayurveda, such as stress, lifestyle changes, or even diet. Let’s explore what’s possible and some steps you can take to address it.
Firstly, consider your current stress level—mental tension and anxiety can have significant effects on your menstrual cycle, disrupting regularity. Try to incorporate some daily relaxation practices like yoga or meditation. These practices not only calm the mind but also help balance your entire bodily system.
In terms of diet, focus on eating warm, cooked foods. Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of a balanced diet for menstrual health. Try including foods like cooked greens and whole grains that are nourishing and easy on the digestions system. Avoid cold or raw foods, as they can aggravate the vata dosha, leading to menstrual irregularities.
Hydration is another important aspect; ensure you’re drinking enough warm water throughout the day. Warm water can help balance your doshas and support healthy circulation. Herbal teas, especially those with ginger or cinnamon, are a good choice—they aid in warming up the body and promoting regular menstruations.
Additionally, maintaining a regular routine is very important in Ayurveda. Try waking up and going to bed at the same time every day, and eating meals at regular intervals. This can help ground your vata and kapha doshas, supporting a balanced menstrual cycle.
If your period doesn’t return in a week or so, or if you have cramps, excessive fatigue, or discomfort, it would be best to consult with a healthcare professional. They can provide personalized advice or further examination to ensure everything is well.
Please remember, of course, these suggestions are generalized and it’s important to consider your personal health circumstances. Ayurveda treatments are personalized, so it might be beneficial to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for a plan tailored to your unique constitution and needs.
