HELLO RUTHI,

I’m sorry you’re going through this. From the symptoms you’ve shared- white vaginal discharge(leucorrhea), oral thrush(white coating in the mouth), fatigue, eye puffiness , body heat, stomach pain, heart pain, dark tarry stools, urgency in urination- this appears to be a systemic issue, possibly involving chronic infection, weakened immunity, or even gut/liver dysfunction.

Some of your symptoms- especially dark tarry stool, oral thrush, heart pain and recurrent infections - could indicate serious underlying conditions like -GI bleeding(dark stools=digested blood) -systemic candida infection -liver or kidney dysfunction -autoimmune conditions -anemia or chronic inflammation

PLEASE GET EVALUATED BY A DOCTOR FOR -complete blood count -liver/kidney function tests -stool analysis -blood sugar levels- to rule out diabetes -HIV screening (as chronic oral thrush and recurrent infections are common in immunocompromised states)

AYURVEDICALLY This seems to be tridoshic imbalance, primarily involving -kapha=mucus(white discharge, oral thrush) -pitta= inflammation, heat, heart/stomach pain -vata=weakness, dryness, instability

Ayurveda would categorise these symptoms under -shweta pradara-white discharge -mukha daha/taludaha-oral thrush -ajirna/amla pitta- indigestion-related systemic toxins -Ojas kshaya- low immunity and strength

AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

1) DETOX AND DEEPANA-PACHANA(correct digestion and remove toxins)

-TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water at night for gut cleansing and immunity

-AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1 tsp before meals with warm water =helps acidity, thrush, and bowel movement

-GANDHAK RASAYANA= 250 mg twice daily after meals =anti infective, purifies blood

-SHITOPALADI CHURNA + YASHTIMADHU= 1/2 tsp each, with honey for oral thrush

2) LOCAL MANAGEMENT

FOR WHITE DISCHARGE

VAGINAL WASH= decoction of triphala+neem leaves(lukewarm) only

VAGINAL DOUCHE=under supervision

FOR ORAL THRUSH

GARGLE WITH -triphala kwatha -neem+ yashtimadhu kwatha -warm saline water+turmeric

3) RASAYANA AND STRENGTHENERS

-ASHWAGANDHA LEHYA= 1 tsp with milk at night

-GUDUCHI CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with warm water in morning and evening

-SHATAVARI KALPA= 1 tsp with warm milk in morning for hormonal balance and vaginal health

-AROGYAVARDHINI VATI= 1 tab twice daily after meals for liver/digestion/skin

4)DIETARY RECOMMENDATIONS

EAT -warm, light, home-cooked food -moong dal khichdi, cooked vegetables, soups -buttermilk with roasted cumin+rock salt -coconut water, seasonal fruits- avoid banana at night

AVOID -sugar, refined carbs, bakery items they worsen yeast -milk + salt combination -cold foods/drinks -fried/oily/heavy foods -curd at night

5) LIFESTYLE -wake up before sunrise -mild yoga+pranayam daily esp kapalbhati, amolom Vilom -avoid day sleep -keep genital area dry and clean -reduce stress meditation helps restore Ojas

Plese do not rely on home remedies alone- you need a complete clinical diagnosis. This condition appears to have chronic systemic involvement, and infections can spread or worsen if not managed well.

THANK YOU

DR. HEMANSHU MEHTA

hello Ruthi, You’re just 22, but your body is showing signs of deep internal imbalance that’s been neglected or suppressed for several months. The persistent white discharge, rising body heat, morning eye swelling, white coating inside cheeks, and recurring stomach and heart pain all suggest a Pitta–Kapha aggravation with high Ama (toxin) accumulation, and possible low immunity.

The dark tarry stool could also point toward internal bleeding or liver-related issues and the urgency in urination indicates the urinary system is also affected.

Let me explain simply: Your body’s inner fire (Agni) is not stable digestion is poor, toxins are building up, and fluids are not circulating properly. When Pitta is high, it causes heat, inflammation, and pain (like heart/stomach pain). Kapha, when aggravated, causes mucus, coating in the mouth, discharge, and sluggishness. Together, they create this state of weakness and poor immunity.

Internal Prescription (for 6 weeks): Pushyanuga Churna – 1 tsp with rice water (tandulodaka) twice daily before meals Patolakaturohinyadi Kashayam – 15 ml + 45 ml warm water before food twice daily Chandraprabha Vati – 2 tablets twice a day after meals Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp at night with warm water Drakshadi Kashayam – 10 ml + 40 ml water at bedtime (to reduce heat + improve sleep)

External Care (Shodhana / Supportive Therapies): Yoni Pichu (if discharge is severe): Clean cotton dipped in triphala decoction or yashtimadhu decoction, inserted for 15–20 mins (under supervision if possible) Abhyanga with Balashwagandhadi Taila followed by mild steam – 3 times/week Netra Tarpana (if eye swelling continues) – only at an Ayurvedic clinic

Pathya (What You Should Eat & Do): Take warm, home-cooked meals on time Use cow ghee in meals – 1 tsp twice daily Drink coriander seed water or jeera water daily Eat steamed vegetables like lauki, pumpkin, spinach, and thin moong dal Start your day with 1 tsp turmeric water or amla juice

Apathya (Strictly Avoid): Sour and spicy foods, curd, tamarind Cold drinks, processed/junk food Sugar and bakery items Daytime sleeping and late nights Holding urine or bowel urges

Investigations (If Not Done Recently): CBC + ESR LFT (Liver Function Test) Urine Routine & Culture Stool Occult Blood Test USG Abdomen + Pelvis (if pain continues) Vaginal swab / discharge culture (for persistent white discharge)

This isn’t just about gynecological symptoms — your gut, liver, immunity, and reproductive system are all involved. Don’t worry — this is reversible, but needs consistent herbal support and a reset in your daily habits.

If you have any doubts, you can contact me. Take care, Dr. Karthika

Hello ruthi Prevention

To help prevent and treat vaginal discharge:

Keep your genital area clean and dry. Avoid soap and rinse with water only. Sitting in a warm, but not hot, bath may help your symptoms.

Avoid douching. Although many women feel cleaner if they douche after menstruation or intercourse, it may actually worsen vaginal discharge because it removes healthy bacteria lining the vagina that protect against infection.

Eat yogurt with live cultures or take Lactobacillus acidophilus tablets when you are on antibiotics to prevent a yeast infection.

Use condoms to avoid catching or spreading sexually transmitted infection (STI).

Avoid using feminine hygiene sprays, fragrances, or powders in the genital area.

Avoid wearing extremely tight-fitting pants or shorts, which may cause irritation.

Wear cotton underwear or cotton-crotch pantyhose. Avoid underwear made of silk or nylon, because these materials are not very absorbant and restrict air flow. This can increase sweating in the genital area, which can cause irritation.

Use pads and not tampons.

Keep your blood sugar levels under good control if you have diabetes. 1) Pushyanuga Churna-3gm+Pradarantaka Rasa-125mg+Vanga Bhasma-125mg+Spatika Bhasma-500mg+Shuddha Gandhaka-250mg - before food with honey

2) Darvyadi kashaya/ Musli Khadiradi Kashya/Ashokarishta-4tsf BD - after food 2 times a day 3)Vaginala Douche with warm Panchavalkala kashya +tankana Bhasma

Simple Remedies

1. Oil Pulling is a safe remedy that cures and prevents diseases. In the morning, on empty stomach, take one tablespoon of sunflower oil and move oil slowly in the mouth as rinsing or swishing. Swishing stimulates the release of enzymes and the toxins out of the blood. The oil should not be swallowed because it has become toxic. When the oil gets thinner and white. If the oil is still yellow, it thoroughly rinsed and mouth should be washed.

2. Rub the teeth & gums with triphala masi (charcoal of Triphala) twice or thrice a day.

3. Rub the teeth with powders of Bakula, vajradanti, rock salt, clove, charcoal or triphala masi.

HELLO RUTHI,

you’re experiencing multiple symptoms that are connected in Ayurveda through imbalances in doshas (especially pitta, kapha, and vata) and weak agni(digestive fire).

YOU HAVE MENTIONED -White discharge(shwetapradar)= A common issue due to infection, hormonal imbalances, or weakness in reproductive organs

-Oral thrush(white coating in mouth)= Fungal infection caused by weakened immunity or high internal heat

-Body heat, fatigue, eye swelling, heart pain, stomach pain= signs of pitta imbalance with some vata issues

-Dark tarry stool= this could point to internal bleeding or excess heat in the stomach or liver

-Frequent urination= suggests possible infection or heat in the urinary system

In Ayurveda, this combination of symptoms indicates -Ama(toxin) buildup due to poor digestion -agni mandya(weak digestion) -pitta+kapha imbalance - low Ojas-immunity and vitality

TREATMENT GOAL -remove toxins -improves digestion-boost agni - balance pitta, kapha, and vata -treat infection-especially fungal -strengthen immunity -rejuvinate reproductive and digestive systems -prevent recurrence by maintaining balance

INTERNAL MEDICATIONS

1) TRIKATU CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with honey before meals twice daily for 20 days =improves digestion, melts toxins, reduce kapha

2) AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime for 4 weeks =reduces acidity, supports bowel movement

9) KAMADUDHA RAS WITH MUKTA PISHTI= 1 tab twice daily or 15 days =reduces internal heat, acidity, heartburn

EXTERNAL APPLICATIONS

The combination of symptoms you describe suggests that there might be underlying issues that need careful assessment. In Ayurveda, these symptoms may indicate imbalances in the doshas, especially Pitta and Kapha. Let’s address your concerns through Ayurvedic insights.

White discharge can be linked to Kapha imbalance, and managing this involves dietary and lifestyle changes. Focus on reducing Kapha by avoiding heavy, oily, and dairy foods. Incorporate more warming spices like ginger, cumin, and cinnamon into your meals. Ashoka (Saraca asoca) and Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) are traditionally used in Ayurveda for managing leucorrhea and may be beneficial here. Consider taking them as a decoction under an Ayurvedic practitioner’s guidance.

Oral thrush, signified by white coating, indicates possibly aggravation of Kapha and Ama (toxins). Maintaining good oral hygiene with regular tongue scraping and oil pulling can help. Triphala is an excellent Ayurvedic formula that aids in detoxification and may restore the digestive fire (Agni), improving overall digestion.

Hydration is crucial, but avoid cold drinks. Lukewarm water with a pinch of turmeric may help reduce inflammation and discomfort. Heart and stomach pain could indicate deeper issues. An anti-inflammatory diet rich in green vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins is advisable. Also, incorporate routine stress-relief practices like meditation or pranayama.

Your symptoms, especially heart pain and dark tarry stools, may be serious signs that should not be ignored. You should seek immediate medical evaluation for these, as they could be related to something more urgent or severe. It is important to ensure that you are getting definitive care and diagnostics to rule out other possible health issues. Always combine Ayurvedic care with necessary medical interventions when dealing with complex or serious symptoms.

Based on the range of symptoms you’re describing — particularly the chronic white discharge, oral thrush symptoms (white coating inside the cheeks and on teeth), body temperature changes, and digestive issues — it seems like there might be an underlying imbalance of pitta and kapha dosha, potentially contributing to an impaired agni (digestive fire) and accumulation of ama (toxins) in your system. However, it’s essential to consult a healthcare professional to rule out any serious conditions given the presence of heart pain and dark, tarry stool, which could indicate gastrointestinal bleeding or other serious concerns.

For managing the imbalance, here are some steps you might consider:

1. Diet: Focus on a pitta-kapha pacifying diet. This includes consuming foods that are light, dry, and cooling. Avoid spicy, oily, and heavy foods which can exacerbate pitta and kapha. Incorporate bitter and astringent foods such as green leafy vegetables and pomegranate.

2. Herbal Remedies: Neem (Azadirachta indica) can help balance kapha and act as an antifungal. You may take neem tablets or powder as per the recommended dose on the product you choose.

3. Hydration: Maintain adequate hydration with warm or room temperature water. You can add a pinch of turmeric to your water to enhance its cleansing properties.

4. Triphala: This traditional herbal formulation can support digestion and detoxification. Take 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water before bed to aid bowel movements and support overall gut health.

5. Lifestyle: Aim for a routine that balances rest and activity. prioritize regular sleep and stress management techniques such as yoga and pranayama to balance the body’s energy channels (nadis).

6. External Application: For the oral thrush, oil pulling with coconut oil or sesame oil in the morning can be beneficial. Swish the oil in your mouth for 10-15 minutes and then spit it out.

Remember, recurrent heart and stomach pain, as well as dark stool, necessitate prompt medical evaluation to exclude immediate threats to health. Always keep open communication with your physician regarding ongoing symptoms and changes in condition.

Dr. Haresh Vavadiya
I am an Ayurvedic doctor currently practicing at Ayushakti Ayurveda—which honestly feels more like a learning ecosystem than just a clinic. Being here has changed the way I look at chronic conditions. You don’t just treat the label—you go after the cause, layer by layer, and that takes patience, structure, and real connection with the person sitting in front of you. Ayushakti has been around 33+ years, with global reach and seriously refined clinical systems. That means I get to work with protocols that are both deeply rooted in traditional Ayurveda and also super practical for today’s world. Whether I’m managing arthritis, asthma, skin issues like eczema or psoriasis, hormone trouble, gut problems, or stress overload—my first step is always a deep analysis. Prakriti, doshas, ahar-vihar, past treatments—everything gets mapped out. Once I’ve got that picture clear, I create a plan using herbal medicines, detox programs (especially Panchakarma), Marma therapy if needed, and definitely food and routine corrections. But nothing’s random. Each piece is chosen for *that* person. And I don’t just prescribe—I explain. Because when someone knows *why* they’re doing a certain thing, they stick with it longer, and the results hold. One thing I’ve learned while working here is how powerful Ayurved can be when it's structured right. At Ayushakti, that structure exists. It helps me treat confidently and track results properly. Whether I’m working with a first-time visitor or a patient who’s been dealing with the same thing for 10 years, my goal stays the same—help their system return to a natural, sustainable state of balance. What I really enjoy is seeing how people’s mindset changes once they start to feel better. When they stop depending on just temporary relief and start building their health from within—that’s when the real shift happens. And being part of that shift? That’s why I do this.

Dr. Snehal Vidhate
I am Dr. Snehal Vidhate, born n brought up in Maharashtra—and honestly, for as long as I remember I’ve felt this pull towards Ayurveda. Not the fancy version ppl throw around, but the deep, real kind that actually helps ppl. I did my BAMS from YMT Ayurvedic Medical College in Kharghar. That’s where I got my basics strong—like really studied the shastras, understood prakriti, doshas, the whole deal. Not just crammed theory but started to see how it shows up in real lives. After finishing BAMS, I got into this one-year certificate course at Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, Delhi—honestly a turning point. I was super lucky to learn Kerala Ayurveda from my Guru, Prof. Dr. G.G. Gangadharan. He’s got this way of seeing things... simple but deep. That time with him taught me more than any textbook ever could. It kinda reshaped how I look at health, healing n how precise Ayurveda can be when you respect its roots. Right now I’m doing my MD in Panchakarma from SDM Ayurveda College, Bangalore. This place is like a hub for serious Ayurveda work. The Panchakarma training here? Super intense. We go deep into detoxification & rasayana therapy—not just theory again, but hands-on. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

Dr. Suchin M
I am someone who’s honestly just really drawn to how deep Ayurveda goes—like really deep—not just treating what’s showing on the surface but getting into what’s actually causing it underneath. I really believe that even those complicated lifestyle diseases, stuff like diabetes or BP or obesity that people think they’ll just have to live with forever, can totally be managed with Ayurvedic principles. Not magically or overnight, but through proper diagnosis, diet tweaks, daily habits, and herbs that actually work if you use them right. That’s the part I focus on—making Ayurveda work practically, not just in theory. After finishing my BAMS, I’ve worked with chronic conditions for over a year now in clinical setups. Mostly patients dealing with long-term stuff that doesn’t go away with one pill—usually the kind of disorders rooted in stress, wrong food choices or too much sitting. I’ve seen that if you really listen first, like actually listen—hear their story, feel where they’re coming from—half the work’s already done. Then when you assess their Prakriti, figure out where the doshas are out of balance, and connect that with their history (plus any modern test reports they might bring), it gives you this full picture that’s so valuable. My treatment plans aren't one-size-fits-all. Sometimes it’s about bringing agni back into balance. Sometimes just clearing aam helps. Most people are shocked that things like bloating or even periods issues can shift just by aligning food and herbs with their constitution. And if the case is acute or there’s a red flag, I have no problem referring for emergency allopathic care. Integrative care makes sense—Ayurveda doesn’t have to be isolated from modern medicine. My aim? It's not just to fix a symptom. I want people to feel at ease in their own body again. To build habits they don’t need to break later. To know their own rhythm, not just follow some generic health trend. That’s what Ayurvedic healing means to me... not perfect, but real.

Dr. Garima Mattu
I am working in Ayurveda for about 2 years now, mainly around gynecological problems, which I honestly feel are way more common than most people realise. I see a lot of women struggling silently with issues like irregular periods, cramps that just don’t stop, mood swings, PCOS kind of symptoms... sometimes they come in after trying a bunch of stuff already n nothing really works long-term. That’s where I try to bring in a more rooted approach. I use a mix of Ayurvedic principles, dietetics (like food based on dosha & body type etc), and yoga therapy to manage these conditions. It’s not just about reducing pain during periods or balancing hormones—it’s more like trying to understand what’s causing the imbalances in the first place. I spend time trying to map the prakriti-vikriti profile and see how stress, food, daily habits are impacting the cycle. I don’t rush things, coz honestly healing isn't linear and doesn't follow some fixed timeline. And not everyone wants to jump into panchakarma straightaway either, right? Also pain management is a big part of my work. Whether it’s period cramps or pelvic pain, or even chronic stuff tied to digestion and fatigue, I look at how we can ease that naturally. Sometimes through simple things like castor oil packs, or subtle shifts in routine, other times I may recommend herbs or formulations. Yoga plays a huge role too, esp. when the body feels stuck or inflamed. Not gym-style yoga, more therapeutic.. breath n movement syncing with dosha correction, that kind of thing. To be honest, I’m still learning—Ayurveda’s depth is huge, and I feel like I’m just getting started. But what I do know is, when I see women begin to trust their own body’s rhythm again, that’s really powerful. Makes all the effort worth it. Even small relief matters. It's not perfect, sometimes things take longer, sometimes we need to adjust mid-way... but it's real.

Dr. Narendrakumar V Mishra
I am a Consulting Ayurvedic Physician practicing since 1990—feels strange saying “over three decades” sometimes, but yeah, that’s the journey. I’ve spent these years working closely with chronic conditions that don’t always have clear answers in quick fixes. My main work has been around skin disorders, hair fall, scalp issues, and long-standing lifestyle stuff like diabetes, arthritis, and stress that kinda lingers under everything else. When someone walks into my clinic, I don’t jump to treat the problem on the surface. I start by understanding their *prakriti* and *vikriti*—what they’re made of, and what’s currently out of sync. That lets me build treatment plans that actually *fit* their system—not just push a medicine and hope it works. I use a mix of classical formulations, panchakarma if needed, dietary corrections, and slow, practical lifestyle changes. No overnight miracle talk. Just steady support. Hair fall and skin issues often feel cosmetic from outside—but internally? It’s about digestion, stress, liver, hormones... I’ve seen patients try 10+ things before landing in front of me. And sometimes they just need someone to *listen* before throwing herbs at the problem. That’s something I never skip. With arthritis and diabetes too, I take the same root-cause path. I give Ayurvedic medicines, but also work with *dinacharya*, *ahar* rules, and ways to reduce the load modern life puts on the body. We discuss sleep, food timing, mental state, all of it. I’ve also worked a lot with people dealing with high stress—career burnout, anxiety patterns, overthinking—and my approach there includes Ayurvedic counseling, herbal mind support, breathing routines... depends what suits them. My foundation is built on classical *samhitas*, clinical observation, and actual time with patients—not theories alone. My goal has always been simple: to help people feel well—not just for a few weeks, but in a way that actually lasts. Healing that feels like *them*, not just protocol. That’s what I keep aiming for.

Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh
I am Dr. Gursimran Jeet Singh, born and raised in Punjab where culture and traditions almost naturally guided me toward Ayurveda. From very early days I felt more drawn to natural ways of healing, and this curiosity finally led me to pursue Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) at Shri Dhanwantry Ayurvedic College, Chandigarh—an institution known for shaping strong Ayurvedic physicians. During those years I learned not only the classical texts and treatment methods, but also how to look at health through a very practical, human lense. For the past five years I worked in clinical practice, where patients come with wide range of concerns—from chronic digestion troubles to autoimmune illness—and I try to integrate both Ayurveda and modern medical knowledge to give them the most complete care I can. Sometimes western diagnostics help me to understand the stage of disease, while Ayurveda helps me design treatment that address root cause. This bridging approach is not always easy, but I believe it’s necessary for today’s health challanges. Currently I am also pursuing higher studies in Panchakarma therapy. Panchakarma is an area I feel very strongly about—it is not just detox, it is a whole system of cleansing, rejuvenation, rebalancing, and I want to deepen my expertise here. In practice, I combine Panchakarma with lifestyle guidance, diet planning, herbal remedies, yoga and mindfulness practices depending on what a patient actually needs at that moment. No two cases are same, and Ayurveda reminds me daily that healing must be personal. My approach is always focused on root-cause management rather than temporary relief. Diet, herbs, therapeutic oils, meditation routines, and simple daily habits—they all work together when chosen rightly. Sometimes results come slow, sometimes faster, but I try to keep care sustainable and compassionate. Helping someone regain energy, sleep better, or reduce pain, that is the real achievement in my journey. And I continue learning, because Ayurveda is deep, it doesn’t finish with one degree or one training, it grow with every patient and every experiance. My specialties lie in treating a range of chronic and lifestyle-related conditions using Ayurveda’s time-tested principles, tailored to each individual’s unique constitution (Prakriti). I have significant expertise in managing digestive disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), acid reflux, constipation, diabetes, obesity and inflammatory bowel diseases. I also specialize in addressing stress-related and mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, insomnia, and burnout, which are increasingly common in today’s fast-paced world. By integrating therapies like Shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead) to calm the nervous system, Abhyanga (herbal oil massages) to balance Vata dosha, and adaptogenic herbs like Ashwagandha and Brahmi, I help patients achieve mental clarity and emotional resilience. In the field of musculoskeletal and joint health, I excel in treating conditions like arthritis (rheumatoid and osteoarthritis), back pain, sciatica, and sports injuries. Using therapies such as Kati Basti (localized oil retention on the lower back) and potent anti-inflammatory herbs like Guggulu and Shallaki, I focus on reducing inflammation, improving joint mobility, and strengthening tissues. My treatments have helped many patients, particularly those seeking non-invasive alternatives, regain mobility and reduce pain through a blend of internal medications and external therapies. Skin disorders are another key area of my practice, where I address conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and pigmentation issues holistically. By focusing on blood purification and balancing Pitta dosha and detoxifying Panchakarma techniques like Raktamokshana (bloodletting). My approach targets dietary and lifestyle triggers, offering sustainable results for clients who previously relied on temporary solutions like topical steroids. My dual expertise in Ayurveda and modern medicine allows me to create integrative treatment plans that are both effective and safe. I am deeply committed to patient education, empowering individuals to embrace Ayurvedic principles for sustainable health. Through this online platform, I am excited to offer virtual consultations, making the profound benefits of Ayurveda accessible to all. Whether you seek relief from a specific condition or aim to enhance overall vitality, I look forward to guiding you on your journey to balance and well-being with compassion and expertise.

Dr. Prasad Pentakota
I am Dr. P. Prasad, and I’ve been in this field for 20+ years now, working kinda across the board—General Medicine, Neurology, Dermatology, Cardiology—you name it. Didn’t start out thinking I’d end up spanning that wide, but over time, each area sort of pulled me in deeper. And honestly, I like that mix. It lets me look at a patient not just through one lens but a whole system-wide view... makes more sense when treating something that won’t fit neatly in one category. I’ve handled everything from day-to-day stuff like hypertension, diabetes, or skin infections to more serious neuro and cardiac problems. Some cases are quick—diagnose, treat, done. Others take time, repeated check-ins, figuring out what’s really going on beneath those usual symptoms. And that’s where the detail matters. I’m pretty big on thorough diagnosis and patient education—because half the problem is ppl just not knowing what’s happening inside their own body. What’s changed for me over years isn’t just knowledge, it’s how much I lean on listening. If you miss what someone didn’t say, you might also miss their actual illness. And idk, after seeing it play out so many times, I do believe combining updated medical practice with basic empathy really shifts outcomes. Doesn’t have to be complicated... it just has to be consistent. I keep up with research too—new drugs, diagnostics, cross-specialty updates etc., not because it’s trendy, but cuz it’s necessary. Patients come in better read now than ever. You can’t afford to fall behind. The end goal’s the same tho—help them heal right, not just fast. Ethical practice, evidence-based, and sometimes just being there to explain what’s going on. That’s what I stick to.

Dr. Sara Garg
I am someone who believes Ayurveda isn’t just some old system — it’s alive, and actually still works when you use it the way it's meant to be used. My practice mostly revolves around proper Ayurvedic diagnosis (rogi & roga pariksha types), Panchakarma therapies, and ya also a lot of work with herbal medicine — not just prescribing but sometimes preparing stuff myself when needed. I really like that hands-on part actually, like knowing where the herbs came from and how they're processed... changes everything. One of the things I pay a lot of attention to is how a person's lifestyle is playing into their condition. Food, sleep, bowel habits, even small emotional patterns that people don't even realize are affecting their digestion or immunity — I look at all of it before jumping to treatment. Dietary therapy isn’t just telling people to eat less fried food lol. It’s more about timing, combinations, seasonal influence, and what suits their prakriti. That kind of detail takes time, and sometimes patients don’t get why it matters at first.. but slowly it clicks. Panchakarma — I do it when I feel it's needed. Doesn’t suit everyone all the time, but in the right case, it really clears the stuck layers. But again, it's not magic — people need to prep properly and follow instructions. That's where strong communication matters. I make it a point to explain everything without dumping too much Sanskrit unless they’re curious. I also try to keep things simple, like I don’t want patients feeling intimidated or overwhelmed with 10 things at once. We go step by step — sometimes slow, sometimes quick depending on the case. There’s no “one protocol fits all” in Ayurveda and frankly I get bored doing same thing again and again. Whether it’s a fever that won’t go or long-term fatigue or gut mess — I usually go deep into what's behind it. Surface-level fixes don’t last. I rather take the time than rush into wrong herbs. It’s more work, ya, but makes a diff in long run.

Dr. Surya Bhagwati
I am a Senior Ayurveda Physician with more than 28 years in this field — and trust me, it still surprises me how much there is to learn every single day. Over these years, I’ve had the chance to treat over 1 lakh patients (probably more by now honestly), both through in-person consults and online. Some come in with a mild cough, others with conditions no one’s been able to figure out for years. Each case brings its own rhythm, and that’s where real Ayurveda begins. I still rely deeply on classical tools — *Nadi Pariksha*, *Roga-Rogi Pariksha*, proper *prakriti-vikriti* mapping — not just ticking symptoms into a list. I don’t believe in ready-made cures or generic charts. Diagnosis needs attention. I look at how the disease behaves *inside* that specific person, which doshas are triggering what, and where the imbalance actually started (hint: it’s usually not where the pain is). Over the years I’ve worked with pretty much all age groups and all kinds of health challenges — from digestive upsets & fevers to chronic, autoimmune, hormonal, metabolic and degenerative disorders. Arthritis, diabetes, PCOD, asthma, thyroid... but also things like unexplained fatigue or joint swelling that comes and goes randomly. Many of my patients had already “tried everything else” before they walked into Ayurveda, and watching their systems respond slowly—but surely—is something I don’t take lightly. My line of treatment usually combines herbal formulations (classical ones, not trendy ones), Panchakarma detox when needed, and realistic dietary and lifestyle corrections. Long-term healing needs long-term clarity — not just short bursts of symptom relief. And honestly, I tell patients that too. I also believe patient education isn’t optional. I explain things. Why we’re doing virechana, why the oil changed mid-protocol, why we pause or shift the meds after a few weeks. I want people to feel involved, not confused. Ayurveda works best when the patient is part of the process, not just receiving instructions. Even now I keep learning — through texts, talks, patient follow-ups, sometimes even mistakes that taught me what not to do. And I’m still committed, still fully into it. Because for me, this isn’t just a job. It’s a lifelong responsibility — to restore balance, protect *ojas*, and help each person live in tune with themselves. That’s the real goal.

Dr. Snehal Tasgaonkar
I am an Ayurvedic physician with around 7 yrs clinical experience, though honestly—feels like I’ve lived double that in patient hours. I studied from a govt. medical college (reputed one) where I got deep into classical Ayurvedic texts n clinical logic. I treat everything from chronic stuff like arthritis, IBS, eczema... to more sudden conditions that just pop up outta nowhere. I try to approach each case by digging into the *why*, not just the *what*. I mean—anyone can treat pain, but if you don’t catch the doshic imbalance or metabolic root, it just comes bak right? I use Nadi Pariksha a lot, but also other classical signs to map prakriti-vikruti, dhatu status n agni condition... you know the drill. I like making people *understand* their own health too. Doesn’t make sense to hand meds without giving them tools to prevent a relapse. My Panchakarma training’s been a core part of my work. I do Abhyanga, Swedana, Basti etc regularly—not just detox but also as restorative therapy. Actually seen cases where patients came in exhausted, foggy... and post-Shodhana, they're just lit up. That part never gets old. Also I always tie diet & lifestyle changes into treatment. It’s non-negotiable for me, bcs long-term balance needs daily changes, not just clinic visits. I like using classical formulations but I stay practical too—if someone's not ready for full-scale protocol, I try building smaller habits. I believe healing’s not just abt treating symptoms—it’s abt helping the body reset, then stay there. I’m constantly refining what I do, trying to blend timeless Ayurvedic theory with real-time practical needs of today’s patients. Doesn’t always go perfect lol, but most times we see real shifts. That’s what keeps me going.

Dr. Maitri Bhavesh Kumar Acharya
I am Dr. Maitri, currently in my 2nd year of MD in Dravyaguna, and yeah, I run my own Ayurvedic clinic in Ranoli where I’ve been seeing patients for 2 years now. Honestly, what pulled me into this path deeper is how powerful herbs really are—when used right. Not just randomly mixing churnas but actually understanding their rasa, virya, vipaka etc. That’s kinda my zone, where textbook knowledge meets day-to-day case handling. My practice revolves around helping people with PCOD, acne, dandruff, back pain, stiffness in knees or joints that never seem to go away. And I don’t jump to giving a long list of medicines straight away—first I spend time figuring out their prakriti, their habits, food cycle, what triggers what… basically all the small stuff that gets missed. Then comes the plan—herbs (single or compound), some diet reshuffling, and always some lifestyle nudges. Sometimes they’re tiny, like sleep timing. Sometimes big like proper seasonal detox. Being into Dravyaguna helps me get into the depth of herbs more confidently. I don’t just look at the symptom—I think okay what guna will counter this? Should the drug be snigdha, ushna, tikta? Is there a reverse vipaka that’ll hurt the agni? I ask these questions before writing any combo. That’s made a huge diff in outcomes. Like I had this case of chronic urticaria that would flare up every week, and just tweaking the herbs based on sheetala vs ushna nature... helped calm the system in 3 weeks flat. Not magic, just logic. I also work with women who are struggling with hormonal swings, mood, delayed periods or even unexplained breakouts. When hormones go haywire, the skin shows, digestion slows, and mind gets foggy too. I keep my approach full-circle—cleansing, balancing, rejuvenating. No quick fixes, I tell them early on. What I’m hoping to do more of now is make Ayurveda feel practical. Not overwhelming. Just simple tools—ahara, vihara, aushadha—used consistently, with some trust in the body’s own healing. I’m still learning, still refining, but honestly, seeing people feel in control of their health again—that’s what keeps me rooted to this.
