I am really struggling with my blood sugar levels lately. Doctor says I’m pre-diabetic and I don’t want to go down that path. I came across this idea that is sugarcane juice good for diabetes?? That’s what I wondered when a friend suggested it last week. I used to love the stuff, especially during summers, but every time I think about sugar, my heart sinks. I mean, can something like sugarcane juice even be beneficial in my situation? It tastes so sweet and nice. When I asked my friend, she said it has a lot of natural goodness, but it’s like, is there a catch? I looked up a few articles, and some say it may not be as bad as refined sugar, but then another source said it can spike insulin. Ughhh, I get so confused. Trying to gather my thoughts here: if sugarcane juice is good for diabetes, am I allowed to drink it, or should I just stay clear?
