-Diagnosis : Kapha-Pitta imbalance, Meda and Kleda aggravation → Hypothyroidism, Diabetes, Dyslipidemia, Irregular menstruation -Allopathic medications (continue): Thyroxine 200 mcg once daily on an empty stomach (take 30–60 min before food) Metformin 500 mg twice daily Atorvastatin 20 mg once daily -Ayurvedic Medicines (Supportive / Shamana Therapy) 1)Hamsapadi Kashayam: 20 ml twice daily after food – supports thyroid function and metabolism. 2)Kanchanara Guggulu: 1 tablet twice daily after food – supports thyroid nodules, metabolism, cholesterol, and menstrual regulation. 3)Thyrocare: 1 tablet twice daily after food – thyroid-supportive; monitor TSH. 4)Triphala Churna: 5 g at night with warm water – mild bowel regulation and detox support. 5)Shatavari Syrup: 15 ml twice daily after food – supports menstrual regulation and female hormones. 6)Ashwagandha Churna (optional): 3 g in the morning with warm milk – supports energy, metabolism, and thyroid; avoid if insomnia is present. -Notes: Ayurvedic medicines are supportive; do not stop thyroxine without medical guidance. Take herbal powders at least 1 hour apart from thyroxine to avoid absorption interference. -Diet Recommendations Include: Whole grains (oats, barley, millets), cooked vegetables, leafy greens, fiber-rich fruits (apple, guava, pomegranate), healthy fats (flax seeds, walnuts, ghee in moderation), spices like turmeric, cumin, coriander, and ginger. -Avoid / Limit: Refined sugar, fried foods, excess dairy, soy, raw cruciferous vegetables, processed snacks. Tip: Take thyroid medicine on an empty stomach; wait 30–60 min before eating. -Lifestyle Recommendations Exercise: 30–40 min brisk walking + yoga (Surya Namaskar, Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) daily. Sleep: 10 pm – 6 am, avoid late nights. Stress reduction: Meditation or deep breathing 10–15 min/day. Monitoring Thyroid: TSH, Free T4 every 6–8 weeks. Blood Sugar: Fasting and postprandial monthly until stable. Cholesterol: Lipid profile monthly until stable. Menstrual Cycle: Track for regularity and flow changes. Cautions Ayurvedic herbs may slightly influence thyroid hormone levels; monitor TSH regularly. Avoid taking calcium, iron, or heavy herbal powders at the same time as thyroxine. If diarrhea, palpitations, insomnia, or unusual symptoms occur, stop herbs and consult immediately.
