No, suspicious thyroid nodules (10–20 mm) with suspicion of malignancy cannot be treated with Ayurvedic medicine alone. No herb or Ayurvedic formula has proven ability to reliably shrink or cure malignant thyroid nodules. ✓What you MUST do urgently (next 7–14 days) Get FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology) done immediately – this is the gold standard to determine if the nodules are benign, suspicious, or malignant. Consult an endocrinologist + ENT surgeon / head & neck oncologist as soon as possible (do not wait for Ayurveda first). Do not start any strong detox/purgation herbs (like strong guggulu, triphala high dose, kutki) before biopsy – can cause unnecessary inflammation or bleeding risk. ✓Ayurvedic supportive role (only AFTER biopsy result & doctor clearance) If biopsy is benign (most common outcome even in suspicious USG): Kanchanar Guggulu – 1–2 tablets twice daily after food (helps reduce nodule size in benign cases) Varunadi Kashayam – 15 ml + 45 ml warm water morning empty stomach Praval Pishti – 250 mg twice daily with water (cools & supports thyroid) Shigru (Moringa) leaf powder – 3 gm daily (supports thyroid function) ✓If biopsy shows malignancy → follow oncology plan (surgery ± radioiodine ± levothyroxine); Ayurveda can only be supportive later (e.g., Ashwagandha for energy, Brahmi for stress). ✓Biopsy first – do not delay. Ayurveda is supportive only after proper diagnosis. Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Do USG of Thyroid gland, Then Do biopsy of the gland, doing these test earlier is better, since in early phase of the problem, treatment is result oriented. Meanwhile you can start with Kanchanar guggul 1-0-1 Thyrogrit 2-0-2 Vriddhivadhika vati 1-0-1 All after food with water. Warm castor oil and apply on thyroid gland, externally.

Yes can easily be treated but it takes atleast 3 months of consistent use can start with Kanchanar guggulu 1-0-1 Vriddibhadika vati 1-0-1 But before starting I would suggest you to get an biopsy to rule out malignancy and then accordingly can start the treatment

THYROID NODULES OF THIS SIZE WHICH ARE SUSPICIOUS FOR MALIGNANCY SHOULD NOT BE IGNORED OR DELAYED AND IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DO FNAC BIOPSY BEFORE DECIDING ANY TREATMENT AYURVEDA ALWAYS SUPPORTS PROPER DIAGNOSIS AND DOES NOT ADVISE TAKING RISKS WITH LIFE FROM AYURVEDIC VIEW SUCH NODULES ARE CONSIDERED AS GRANTHI DUE TO KAPHA VATA DUSTI AND METABOLIC IMBALANCE AYURVEDIC MEDICINES CAN SUPPORT IMMUNITY REDUCE INFLAMMATION BALANCE METABOLISM AND HELP IN THYROID FUNCTION BUT THEY CANNOT REPLACE BIOPSY WHEN MALIGNANCY IS SUSPECTED YOU SHOULD CONTINUE YOUR THYROID AND DIABETES MEDICATION WITHOUT STOPPING AYURVEDA WORKS AS SUPPORT AND NOT AS SUDDEN REPLACEMENT STRICT DIET CONTROL IS VERY IMPORTANT AVOID SUGAR MILK CURD FRIED AND COLD FOODS AND FOLLOW WARM LIGHT AND EASILY DIGESTIBLE DIET AFTER FNAC IF THE NODULE IS BENIGN AYURVEDIC TREATMENT CAN BE CONTINUED MORE CONFIDENTLY AND IF MALIGNANCY IS CONFIRMED EARLY MODERN TREATMENT ALONG WITH AYURVEDIC SUPPORT GIVES VERY GOOD RESULTS MY SINCERE ADVICE IS DO NOT DELAY FNAC YOUR SAFETY AND LONG TERM HEALTH IS MOST IMPORTANT

Hello I get that you’re worried about those thyroid nodules that might be a problem, plus the hypothyroidism and diabetes. It’s a lot to deal with, but dont worry we are here to help you out😊 YOUR CONCERN – Thyroid nodules: They’re around 10–20 mm and look a bit suspicious. – You’ve got hypothyroidism. – You’ve got diabetes. – No biopsy yet. What Ayurveda Says In Ayurveda, these nodules are like Galaganda/Granthi. It’s like your body’s got too much Kapha, some imbalances, and some toxins hanging around, causing blockages. Over time, this stuff can turn into lumps in your neck. Important Stuff to Keep in Mind Since those nodules look a little dodgy, you really need to get a biopsy ASAP. Ayurveda can be helpful to support your health, maybe shrink the nodules a bit, boost your immunity, and slow things down, but it’s super important that you don’t skip the biopsy or seeing a cancer doctor if there’s a chance it could be cancer. Finding things early can save your life AYURVEDIC MEDICATION(If It’s Not Cancer) These medicines might help shrink the nodules, get your thyroid in check, and clear it out 1. Kanchanar Guggulu: 2 tablet, twice a day, after you eat 2. Varunadi Kashayam: 15 ml with the same amount of warm water, twice a day, before you eat 3. Triphala Guggulu: 2 tablet, twice a day, after you eat 4. Guduchi + Shigru Churna ½ teaspoon, twice a day, with warm water They’re supposed to: – Lower Kapha – Break down the nodules – Help with drainage – Give your immunity a boost What to Eat (and Not Eat) Avoid: –Milk, yogurt, cheese –Sugar –Baked goods – Fried foods – Sodas – Soy – Raw cauliflower and cabbage INCLUDE – Warm, cooked foods – Moringa leaves – Turmeric, black pepper – Bottle gourd, pumpkin – Moong dal YOGA AND LIFESTYLE – Walk fast every day – Stretch your neck – Do some Pranayama (Bhastrika & Kapalbhati) – Get to bed before 10 pm Tests You Need – Get that FNAC/biopsy done – Check your TSH, T3, T4 levels – Check your HbA1c – Get another thyroid ultrasound in 3 months If the biopsy says the nodules are okay, Ayurveda can be a good way to reduce them. If it turns out to be cancer, you can use Ayurveda to help alongside your regular cancer treatment, but don’t use it instead of seeing a doctor. Your health is the most important thing. Don’t wait to get things checked out. Wishing you all the best, Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

I want to be very careful here. Since your thyroid nodules are 10–20 mm and suspicious for malignancy, Ayurveda can only play a supportive role. It cannot replace biopsy, histopathology, or modern medical management if cancer is suspected. Please understand: if malignancy is confirmed, surgery or other medical treatment is the standard of care. 🧘 Lifestyle & Supportive Measures - Diet: Avoid excess fried, oily, and processed foods. Favor bitter, astringent, and light meals. - Yoga: Sarvangasana, Matsyasana, and Bhujangasana (gentle, under guidance) for thyroid support. - Stress management: Daily pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) and meditation. - Monitoring: Regular thyroid function tests, blood sugar checks, and medical follow-up are essential WARM REGARDS DR. HELLO, Since your thyroid nodules are 10-20 mm and suspicious for malignancy, this is not a situation to rely on Ayurveda without proper medical evaluation FIRST IMPORTANT STEP (Do not skip) If nodules are suspicious for malignancy , the standard and safest next step is -FNAC (fine need aspiration biopsy) -Thyroid ultrasound follow up -thyroid function tests TSH, T3,T4 -If needed= calcitonin in selected cases Without biopsy, no one can safely confirm whether it is Benign or cancerous If it turns out to be cancer , early treatment gives excellent cure rates. Delaying diagnosis is risky CAN AYURVEA TREAT THROID NODULES? If nodules are being Ayurveda may help in -reducing inflammation -improving metabolism -supporting thyroid function -managing hypothyroidism -improving insulin resistance IF MALIGNANT There is no scientific evidence that Ayurveda alone can cure thyroid cancer In such cases, surgery and radioactive iodine is the standard, curative treatment Ayurveda can be used as supportive therapy, not replacement IMPORTANT : YOU ALSO HAVE -hypothyroidism -diabetes Both conditions make proper medical supervision essential INTERNALLY 1) KANCHANAR GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals 2) VARUNADI KASHAYA= 20ml + equal water twice daily before meals 3) PUNARNAVA MANDUR= 2 tabs twice daily after meals 4) TRIKATU CHURNA= 1/4 tsp with warm water before meals 5) CHANDRAPRABHA VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals FOR DIABETES 1) NISHAMALKI CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water in morning 2) GUDMAR CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily before meals 3) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm water at night DIET -avoid excess soy -avoid processed fooods -reduce refined sugar -avoid excessive raw goitrogenic foods -raw cabbage, broccoli in large amounts -warm,light, easy to digest diet DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR.
