HELLO, Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune condition where immunity attacks the thyroid gland. In Ayurveda, this is understood as Agnimandya (weak digestion/metabolism), ama accumulation, and kapha-vata imbalance affecting the thyroid region Since your levels are stable on 75 mcg levothyroxine, selenium, gluten restriction, and light exercise- that’s excellent. The goal now is immune modulation, gut correction, and fatigue reduction, not stopping medicine abruptly

DIET -warm, freshly cooked meals -moong dal, red rice, millets -lightly spiced vegetable soups -steamed vegetables= bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, carrot -cow ghee small quantity- improve digestion -soaked almonds 4-5 daily -herbal teas = ginger + tulsi + cinnamon mild USE IN MODERATION -rock salt not excessive iodised salt -cruciferous vegetables cabbage, broccoli- only cooked not raw AVOID -cold, refrigerated foods -excess dairy especially curd at night -refined sugar and processed foods -soy products May interfere with thyroid absorption -eating late at night Since you already avoid gluten and are stable, continue that if it suits yyou INTERNAL MEDICAITONS 1) KANCHANAR GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =classical medicine for thyroid swelling and glandular imbalance, helps kapha reduction and metabolism correction 2) ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =adaptogen, reduces fatigue, suports thyroid function and immunity 3) GUDUCHI GHAN VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =immune modulator, reduces autoimmune reactivity 4) TRIPHALA = 1 tsp with warm water at beditme =improves gut health, reduces ama formation 5) SHILAJIT (purified) CAPSULE= 1 cap In morning empty stomach with warm water =improves energy and metabolism LIFESTYLE -increase exercise gradually to 30 mi brisk walking if possible -5-7 rounds surya namaskar daily PRANAYAM -ujjayi breathing -nadi sodhana 10 min daily Proper sleep before 10:30pm IMPORTANT MONITORING -check TSH, FT3, FT4, every 3-6 months -Anti-TPO antibodies yearly -Never stop thyroid medication suddenly -Dose reduction only if labs consistently show improvement In modern mediicne, it is managed, not fully reversed In Ayurveda, we aim to -reduce antibody levels -improve energy -prevent progression -possibly reduce medication dose gradually Since you’re stable fr 2 year- the focus now is immune balance and long term maintenance DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

True reversal is rare because it’s an auto immune condition But antibodies can reduce symptoms can improve and thyroid doses may sometimes can decrease with proper long term care You are already doing too good Selenium Gluten avoidance Exercise Thyroid levels stable HB and lipids normal Eat warm freshly cooked foods Avoid processed and excess sugar Take enough protein Add healthy fats like ghee Include nuts like soaked walnuts and almonds Ensure vit b13 and vit D are normal Take a Ashwagandha churna half tsp with warm milk Giloy juice 10 ml daily Triphala churna 1 tsp with warm water at night Continue your allopathic medicine Kanchanar guggulu 1-0-1

🌿 1️⃣ DIET FOR HASHIMOTO’S (Ayurveda + Modern View) 🥗 Anti-Inflammatory Thyroid Diet ✅ Include Daily Warm, freshly cooked food (avoid cold leftovers) Cow ghee (1–2 tsp daily) Soaked almonds (4–5) Pumpkin seeds / sunflower seeds Seasonal fruits (not very sour) Mung dal, red rice, millets (if tolerated) Lauki, tinda, parwal, carrot, beetroot Turmeric + black pepper Jeera + dhania water 🌊 Good for Fatigue Coconut water (3–4 times/week) Dates (1–2 if no sugar issues) Ash gourd juice (morning, empty stomach – small quantity) ⚠️ Limit / Avoid Excess raw salads (weak agni worsens fatigue) Soy products (can interfere with absorption) Refined sugar Very heavy dairy Reheated oils Packaged gluten-free junk You’re already avoiding gluten — good 👍 🌿 2️⃣ AYURVEDIC HERBS FOR HASHIMOTO’S (Important: continue 75 mcg — do NOT stop) 🌱 1. Ashwagandha Supports thyroid function + reduces fatigue + balances cortisol Dose: 250–500 mg at night ⚠ Avoid if hyperthyroid episodes. 🌱 2. Kanchanar Guggulu Traditionally used for thyroid swelling & glandular disorders. Good if: Thyroid gland enlarged Kapha-type body Weight gain tendency 🌱 3. Brahmi If: Brain fog Anxiety Mental fatigue 🌱 4. Triphala (mild dose) Improves gut → gut healing is very important in autoimmunity. 🧘‍♀️ 3️⃣ Lifestyle Upgrade (Realistic for Your Schedule) You said hectic schedule. So instead of longer workouts: 5 min morning sunlight exposure 10 min brisk walk 5 min deep breathing (Bhramari or Anulom Vilom) Sleep before 11 pm Even 20 mins consistent is powerful. 🧬 4️⃣ Important Lab Monitoring Check every 6 months: TSH Free T3, T4 Anti-TPO antibodies Vitamin D B12 Ferritin Fatigue often comes from low ferritin or B12 even if Hb normal. 🌿 From Ayurvedic View Hashimoto’s resembles: Agni mandya (low digestive fire) Ama accumulation Kapha-Vata imbalance So focus = 🔥 Improve Agni 🧹 Remove Ama 🧘 Calm immune overreaction ⚠️ Can You Reduce 75 mcg Dose? Only if: TSH becomes too low Under doctor supervision Never reduce yourself.
