When considering any Ayurvedic supplement, it’s important to assess compatibility with individual health needs and dosha balance. While Mahabonus contains ingredients traditionally revered for promoting bone health and supporting joint function, such as Abha Guggul and Laxadi Guggul, its appropriateness must align with your mom’s specific constitution.

As per Ayurveda, osteoarthritis often involves the aggravation of Vata dosha, which leads t dry, brittle, or weak bones. Ingredients like Arjuna and Asthi Sanharak (Cissus quadrangularis) are known supportive in strengthening bones and improving overall joint health. However, it is essential to ensure these herbs are in synergy with her body’s current state.

Though she has no other medical conditions and isn’t on any medication—making potential interactions less concerning—self-prescription can still carry risks. Dosages and formulations should ideally be tailored by a knowledgeable practitioner, as too high a dose of something like Guggul might aggravate Vata or Pitta if not correctly balanced with other elements.

Encourage dietary choices that favor Vata-pacifying properties; warm, unctuous foods, cooked vegetables, whole grains, and herbal teas—alongside this supplement to maximize benefits. Assure her regular check-ups and monitor any side effects that could indicate incompatibility, albeit this seems an unlikely risk given the composition.

In conclusion, Mahabonus could potentially be a beneficial addition for managing osteoarthritis symptoms, provided she follows guided dosages. Consulting an Ayurvedic doctor for a tailor-made recommendation is best to ensure her safety and effectiveness of the remedy.
