No instead of 2 tablets start with 1 tablet if still your systolic remains less then 120 than you can modify the allopathic medicine, but bp must be monitored closely and then tapered N along with that take Shankapuspi churna 1/2 tsp with warm water after food twice daily Drink warm milk with pinch of nutmeg before bed Practice pranayama meditation

HELLO GAURAV JI, AS YOUR BP IS NOW IN CONTROL,YOU SHOULD DECREASE SARPGANDHA DOSE TO 1 TAB DAILY. THEN MONITOR BP FOR 1 WEEK,IF THE BP STAYS NORMAL THEN ASK YOUR ALLOPATHIC DOCTOR TO REDUCE DOSE. ADDITIONALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO PRACTICE YOGA AND MEDITATION. Take care Regards, DR.ANUPRIYA

Sarpgandha Vati, a classical Ayurvedic formulation containing Rauwolfia serpentina, can indeed help in managing high blood pressure. However, given your current BP readings of 99-110 systolic and 67-75 diastolic, which seem on the lower side especially considering you’ve been on Telma 40 and CT (which includes a diuretic), continuous use of both might not be necessary or advisable. Too low a BP can lead to symptoms such as dizziness, fainting, or fatigue, especially if you’re experiencing any.

It’s crucial to approach this collaboratively with your healthcare provider. Stopping or adjusting medications should be done under medical guidance to ensure safety. But here’s something you might find useful from the Ayurvedic perspective:

When it comes to Sarpgandha, it’s important to monitor your BP regularly. If side effects such as very low BP, dizziness, or a heavy feeling in the head occur, a reevaluation by your healthcare provider is necessary. 2 tablets may be too much, particularly alongside your allopathic treatment.

Lifestyle recommendations could support your treatment: Drinking warm water with fresh ginger can assist digestion and overall nyaya flow. Mindfulness, yoga, and daily walks in nature can help manage stress, a significant factor in hypertension and sleep issues.

Dietarily, a balance of fresh, light, and alkaline foods like leafy greens, whole grains, and minimal use of salt is beneficial. Avoid processed foods which can lead to further imbalance. Practice regular meal timings to stabilize metabolism and sleep patterns.

Remember, sudden changes without consultation may not be safe, given the interactions between Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines. So, please discuss these suggestions with your doctor before making any adjustments.
