What are natural ways to lower blood pressure before getting onto medication? My doctor wants to see if I’ll need medicine but I’d like to lower it naturally first if possible.

- Lifestyle Walk or do gentle yoga 20–30 min daily. Practice Bhramari or Anulom Vilom breathing for 10–15 min. Sleep before 10–11 PM. - Diet Reduce salt, avoid fried/spicy foods. Eat fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains. Use ghee, olive, or flaxseed oil moderately. Drink warm water, tulsi or hibiscus tea. - Habits Avoid smoking, alcohol, excess caffeine. Maintain a calm, regular daily routine. - Follow consistently; results may appear in 2–4 weeks.
