Hello I get why you’re worried about your mom’s heart issues, especially with her RHD, Mitral Stenosis (MS), and Mitral Regurgitation (MR). It’s totally understandable, and with the right help, we can try to make her heart stronger and more stable. YOUR CONCERN Your mom has: • Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) • Mitral Stenosis & Mitral Regurgitation • BP 130/80 • Palpitations & a fast heartbeat for over half a year • She’s already taking regular heart meds from her doctor What these things mean: – Her heart’s working harder than it should – Her Vata–Pitta is off, which messes with her heart rhythm WHAT AYURVEDA SAYS This is like a Hridaya Vata–Pitta Dushti situation. • Her heart valves are weak • Blood’s not flowing right • Nerves are going crazy • Which leads to palpitations, feeling anxious, and being tired WHAT WE’RE TRYING TO DO • Slow down her fast heartbeat • Lessen the palpitations • Make her heart muscles stronger • Help her valve function • Work with her current meds AYURVEDIC TREATMENT (Use along with her regular meds!) Don’t stop her meds from her cardiologist! These are just to help. For Palpitations & Rhythm 1.Arjuna Ksheerpaka Boil 1 tsp of Arjuna powder in 1 cup of milk + 1 cup of water until it’s 1 cup. Drink it in the morning. (If milk’s a no-go, try Arjuna capsules) For Heart Strength & BP 2.Prabhakar Vati 1 tablet, twice a day, after eating For Fast Heartbeat & Anxiety 3.Saraswatarishta 15 ml with the same amount of water at night To Chill Out Nerves & heart 4.Brahmi Vati 1 tablet at night DIET PLANINCLUDE • Cooked veggies • Moong dal • Rice • Pomegranate • Coconut water • A little bit of ghee ❌Avoid: – Tea/coffee – Fried stuff – Pickles – Too much salt – Stress! Try to be asleep by 10 pm. With some Ayurvedic help to back up her regular meds, we can try and keep your mom’s heart doing well. Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

🩺 Medical Priority - Palpitations and fast heartbeat in RHD often mean atrial fibrillation or arrhythmia, which can increase stroke risk. - Since she is already on prescribed medicines, it’s important that her cardiologist monitors heart rhythm, INR (if on blood thinners), and valve function regularly. - Ayurvedic medicines can be supportive, but they cannot replace cardiac medications or prevent complications like stroke or heart failure. Important Notes— - Palpitations for >6 months in RHD must be monitored with ECG/Echo. - If she develops breathlessness, swelling in legs, chest pain, or fainting, seek immediate medical care. - Ayurvedic medicines can help reduce palpitations and strengthen the heart, but they are supportive only Rx 1.Brahmi vati 1 tab twice daily with water after meals 2.Arjunarishta 20 ml with 20 ml water twice daily after meals 3.Praval pishti 125 mg twice daily with honey after meals

HELLO, You mother has -RHD -Mitral stenosis (MS) + Mitral regurgitation (MR) -Palpitations/fast heartbeat -Bp ~130/80 This is a structural heart disease Ayurveda can help with symptoms control, quality of life and stability But it does not Replace cardiology care or prescribed medicines She must continue all allopathic cardiac medicines (Beta-blockers, anticoagulants) unless her cardiologist changes them From an Ayurvedic view, this condition mainly involves -Vata vitiation (especially prana and vyana vata) -rasa rakta Dhatu dushti -hridayamarma involvement -associated pitta aggravation-> palpitations, fast heart rate, anxiety INTERNAL MANAGEMENT 1) ARJUNARISHTA= 20ml + equal water twice daily after meals =strengthens heart muscle, improves rhythm 2) SARPAGANDHA VATI= 1 tab in morning = calms tachycardia and anxiety 3) PRABHAKAR VATI = 1 tab twice daily after meals =classical cardiac tonic for palpitations 4) BRAHMI VATI= 1 tab at bedtime =calms anxiety, weakness, and good for sleep 5) HRIDAYARNAVA RAS= 125 mg with honey twice daily =circulation and dhatu support DIET -warm, freshly cooked meals -rice, wheat, oats -moong dal -lauki, pumpkin, carrot -cow’s milk warm, spiced with cardamom -pomegranate -soaked almonds 2-3 only AVOID -tea,coffee,energy drinks -excess salt -fried and packaged food -sour food-pickles, vinegar -onion, garlic raw -late night meals LIFESTYLE AND DAILY ROUTINE -fixed sleep schedule -no daytime sleeping -avoid stress, arguments, overexertion -gentle morning walk only no brisk walking -avoid lifting heavy weights PRANAYAM AND YOGA -anulom vilom -bhramari -meditation 10-15 min AVOID -kapalbhati -bhastrika -intense yoga SEEK IMEMDIATE MEDICAL CARE IF -sudden worsening palpitations -dizzingess/ fainting -chest pain -breathlessness at rest -swelling of legs -very fast or irregular heartbeat HONEST EXPECTATIONS -Ayurveda can. reduce palpitations, calm heart rate, improve strength and mental peace -it cannot reverse valve damage -Best results come from integrative care DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU DR.
