Vinod, it looks like your knee pain radiating to the thigh and calf could be linked to the body’s overall alignment and muscle imbalances. This may be exacerbated by Vata imbalance considering your IBS-C history and the nature of your pain. Vata dosha, responsible for movement in body, often gets aggravated with irregular bowel habits, and the effect can manifest in disproportionate pain or discomfort.

Here’s what you can consider for manageable at-home interventions:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Opt for a Vata-pacifying diet, which includes warm, moist foods and spices that promote digestion. Mung dal, stewed fruits, and cooked vegetables with a bit of ghee can nourish and stabilize Vata. Avoid cold foods and beverages, as well as excessive raw foods that can further disturb Vata.

2. Routine: Establish a daily routine with regular meal times, sleep, and wake times to help balance your Vata. Practices like Abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame or mustard oil before a warm bath can nourish joints and soothe nerves involved with pain perception.

3. Herbal Support: Since Yogaraj Guggulu didn’t provide relief, another option could be Ashwagandha with a pinch of ginger powder, taken with warm milk in the evening. It can help with pain management and supports muscular relaxation.

4. Lifestyle Adjustments: Incorporating gentle yoga stretches focusing on lower body, such as Pawanmuktasana (wind-relieving pose) and Shalabhasana (locust pose), might help in improving blood circulation and reducing pain. Ensure to listen to your body - avoid over-stretching.

5. Posture Awareness: Pay attention to your body mechanics - especially in daily activities. While rising or sitting, engage your core muscles, this can help protect knees from strain.

6. Seek Professional Evaluation: As your current medications and steps provide partial relief, further investigation with an orthopedist or a physiotherapist might reveal if additional treatment like tailored physiotherapy is needed.

Remember, integrating self-care with professional guidance can help address your symptoms more comprehensively.
