Dosha Involvement: Vata predominant
- 1. Internal Medications (Oral)
Brihat Vata Chintamani Rasa: 125 mg, twice daily for 30 days – pacifies Vata and strengthens nerves
Dashamoola Kwath: 15 ml, twice daily for 30 days – anti-inflammatory and analgesic
Ashwagandha Churna: 3g with warm milk daily – nerve tonic and muscle strengthening
Erandamuladi Taila: 10 ml at bedtime for 30 days – mild laxative, balances Vata
- Dietary note: Avoid cold and dry foods; prefer warm, oily, easily digestible meals.
2. External Therapies
Ksheerabala Taila massage (Greeva Abhyanga): Daily, 15–20 minutes – gentle neck massage
Mahanarayan or Dhanwantaram Taila massage: Daily, 5–7 minutes on cervical region before Swedana
- Dietary and Lifestyle Advice (Ahara & Vihara)
Eat warm, cooked foods; avoid dry, cold, or heavy meals
Avoid heavy lifting and jerky neck movements
Limit prolonged phone/laptop use
Gentle neck and shoulder stretching daily
Sleep on a medium-firm pillow, keeping the neck neutral
Regular brisk walking to improve circulation

Seek urgent consultation if hand weakness, worsening numbness, or sudden loss of sensation occurs
Reassess after 4 weeks; Panchakarma course may be advised if needed
