What is the treatment for mild wedge compression fracture and bulging discs in the spine? - #54604

Hello Levels L1-2 L2-3 L3-4 L4-5 L5-S1 mm 7.8 8.5 7.7 8.7 6.9 Screening of bilateral SI joints on STIR coronal images reveals no abnormal signal intensity. Screening cervico-dorsal spine in T2WI sagittal images reveal:- Diffuse posterior bulge of C4-5, C5-6 & C6-7 discs with peridiscal osteophytes compressing anterior subarachnoid space. Diffuse posterior bulge of multiple dorsal discs indenting anterior subarachnoid space. IMPRESSION: Mild wedge compression fracture noted involving the L1 vertebral body with approximately 50% reduction in height and retropulsion compressing thecal sac and conus. T2 & STIR hyperintense signal seen in conus at this level suggestive of edema/myelomalacia. No abnormal post contrast enhancement is seen. Minimal inflammatory changes are seen in the bilateral psoas muscles. Grade I retrolisthesis of L5 over S1 vertebra is seen. Multilevel spondylodegenerative changes, more marked at L1-2, L2-3, L3-4, L4-5 & L5-S1 levels as described.
