How to cop with sugar in my body - #20569

Am really struggling to manage my blood sugar daily I even tried to change my diet to protein food only like eggs, beans and green vegetables to manage my sugar but still my sugar sometimes go upto 12. I use medine like amaryllis 4 and empiget once daily, can you please advice me on what to do .

You can start on Tab. Madhunashini vati- 1 tab twice daily before food must be chewed and then swllowed And walking atleast 30 minutes per day Meanwhile continue your allopathic medicines, Monitor your sugar levels regularly, and taper and stop the allopathic medicines acc to your sugar levels

Hello In managing the sugar level life style management plays very important role. DIET , SLEEP , & EXERCISE sleep-7-8 hours sound & deep sleep, No day sleep. Exercise - everyday 30mins walking in morning & evening. Avoid alcohol smoking. Diet- avoid sweet , sugar, processed food , junk food, oily fried foods, carbonated juices , fruit juices, rice, red meat Avoid potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, beetroot, Avoid banana, custard apple, jackfruit, sapota, mango Include millets in your diet , use red rice, every day take good amount of vegetable with some sprouts . try to take fruit in morning or at 11 am not after 3pm or after food

1. tab Nisha amalaki 1-1-1 before food 2. madhumehahara kwatha 10ml-0-10mlwith 10ml water after food

Do follow this for month then reconsult me. Thank you

You can consider consuming a small piece of fresh ginger with rock salt just before meals to kindle Agni and improve digestion. Additionally, drinking warm, boiled water with a pinch of turmeric throughout the day may help detoxify the body and support Ayurvedic principles of managing blood sugar.

Another aspect to focus on? is the timings and consistency of meals, as irregular eating can cause fluctuations. Establish a routine mealtime to prevent erratic blood sugar spikes. Incorporating herbs like methi (fenugreek) seeds and cinnamon can assist as natural regulators - soaking a teaspoon of methi seeds overnight and consuming them with water on an empty stomach in the morning may be beneficial.

When it comes to physical activity, aim for regular, moderate exercise such as brisk walking or yoga (not too strenuously) daily for 30-45 minutes, which helps maintain balance in your doshas and supports healthy sugar levels.

Remember to avoid heavy, dense deserts and excessively oily foods, as they can unbalance your Kapha. Instead, opt for soothing herbal teas - you might try tulsi or neem tea.

A holistic approach is best - careful monitoring, patience and regular consultations with a healthcare practitioner to adjust medications as necessary. If you find your sugar levels persistently high despite these attempts, it may require reassessment of your medication dosage by your doctor.
