Diet and exercise are essential for maintaining overall health and achieving healthy weight loss. Since you are a lactating mother, I will not recommend any medications at this stage. However, I can guide you with dietary and lifestyle modifications.

Diet Recommendations:

Include fruits and sprouts in your breakfast.

Eat millet-based meals such as millet chapati or millet khichdi along with a salad.

Start your day with a green juice made from green vegetables, curry leaves, and a pinch of cinnamon (dalchini).

Have a light and easily digestible dinner—prefer soups, vegetable stew, or khichdi.

Avoid refined, processed, and spicy foods.

Lifestyle Tips:

Avoid sitting or standing for prolonged periods—move around every 45 minutes.

Keep your feet elevated while resting to help reduce swelling.

Stay well-hydrated; add tulsi, ginger, or mint leaves to your water for added benefits.

Avoid sugar, refined flour, processed foods, and dairy—especially if swelling is prominent.

When tackling weight loss and inflammation, especially postpartum, it’s so important to consider your unique body constitution or prakriti, and adapt accordingly with an approach that respects your current state of health.

Given your symptoms—high cholesterol, high CRP, swelling, pain, and hair loss—indicate a likely imbalance in kapha and maybe vata doshas. These doshas could be contributing to both excess weight and inflammation. Start with a gently cleansing diet focusing on balancing these doshas and reducing inflammation.

Incorporate warming spices like ginger, turmeric and black pepper into your meals. Turmeric in particular is effective for reducing inflammation. Try a simple turmeric milk before bed, using a warm cup of milk, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, and a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption. If dairy doesn’t suit you, alternatives like almond milk works too.

Swap refined grains with whole grains like barley and quinoa, these are light and help in reducing kapha. Prioritize fresh vegetables and fruits that are seasonal and easily digestible. Avoid heavy, greasy, or overly sweet foods which can increase kapha.

Regularly engage in light exercise that gently moves your body. Taking walks, doing simple sun salutations or yoga, and gentle aerobics 3-4 times a week could help in boosting your metabolism without overly straining your muscles or joints. Focus on consistency rather than intensity.

Hydration is also key. Warm water infused with lemon slices or mint is good throughout the day. This helps maintain good circulation and flush out toxins.

Addressing hair loss, massage your scalp gently with coconut or bhringaraj oil once a week, preferably before washing your hair. This will nourish the scalp and strengthen the roots.

For mid-back pain, ensure proper posture, especially if spending long periods sitting or lifting your baby. A periodic gentle stretch routine focused on your mid-back, or supervised by a physiotherapist can be beneficial.

As your conditions involve high cholesterol and CRP, and given the potential cardiovascular implications, continuous professional monitoring with a healthcare provider would be invaluable. The integration of Ayurveda with modern medicine may assist in a comprehensive approach to achieving your health goals safely.
