Hi, Severe osteoarthritis is a progressive disorder and we can treat it up to a limit and can be stopped the further progression. Did you take any medication for any other lifestyle diseses . And also there is any inflammation of the joints? Avoid long stepping, stepp climbing, walking and long standing. Wear a kneecap while doing these activities and travelling time. Medications :- 1) Rasnasaptakam kashayam - 15ml Kashayam + 45 ml luke warm water. Mix it properly. Drink it half hour before food in morning and evening. 2) Nucart OA tab - 1-0-1 after food 3) Yogaraja guggulu tab 1-0-1 with kashaya before food 4 ) Do bandage with murivenna spreading in a cotton pad and place it on the knees and bandage it properly and remove it on bed time.

Hii According to Ayurveda OA is a degenerative disease in our science we call it as sandhivata which is vataja roga… As the age progresses bone density usually decreases and we can see osteophytic changes…so first of all drink plenty of water and practice a habit of having dairy products during your meals. As you don’t want to undergo knee replacement we have a better option that is Panchakarma…I would suggest you to undergo janu basti with murvennu and kottamchukkadi thaila for 7 days and panchatikta ksheera basti for 16 days Advice 1.Tab Suthashekhara rasa 1-0-1 (,B/f) 2.Tab Punarnavadi guggulu 1-0-1 3.Tab Lakshadi guggulu 1-0-1 4.Murvennu+ksheera bala thaila (L/A) 5.Guggulutiktaka grutham 10ml-0-10ml

oh boy, sounds pretty tough, right? dealing with severe osteoarthritis in the knees can really disrupt your day-to-day life. but let’s see what Ayurveda can do to help you out. remember, realigning those knees without surgery is ambitious, but there’s stuff that can lessen the pain and perhaps improve flexibility.

in Ayurveda, osteoarthritis often is linked to vata dosha imbalance, leading to joint dryness and stiffness. try focusing on bringing balance back to that dosha. warming, nourishing foods might help – think soups or stews. throw in spices like ginger and turmeric, which are great for inflammation. also, try sipping on warm water throughout the day. it’s pretty simple, but helps keep vata calm.

consider giving certain herbal remedies a shot. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are known to support joint health. you could look into a supplement form. But, if you’re new to it, maybe consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner first. for more immediate relief, an oil massage—let’s make it a daily practice. Use warm sesame oil, it can be quite soothing and helps to keep that area lubricated.

and you know, load off those knees by working on building strength in other areas. Gentle yoga poses or exercises focusing on building leg muscles without straining those knees can help - but keep it low impact! if you need direction, a therapist who understands both the condition and suitable exercises would be best.

please, do keep in touch with your regular doctor too. the knee’s condition sounds serious, and while Ayurveda offers supportive care, don’t neglect regular medical advice. If your doctor suggests you make other lifestyle changes to manage your pain, balance them with the Ayurvedic suggestions. stay hopeful, small changes can make a world of difference in how you feel.
