Ok In Ayurveda, we don’t treat just the symptoms—we focus on the root cause. To guide you properly, I offer you to opt for personalized paid consultation. This helps me understand your unique body type, imbalances, lifestyle, and stress triggers, and I can advice you accordingly
Thank you for reaching out. Based on what you've shared — depression, stress-related IBS, insomnia, and tinnitus — it’s important to understand that these are not isolated problems. In Ayurveda, they are deeply interconnected and often stem from one root imbalance: poor gut health and digestion. When digestion is impaired, the formation of healthy tissues (dhatus) and the proper functioning of manas (mind) are disrupted. This leads to symptoms like anxiety, mood disturbances, disturbed sleep (insomnia), gut issues (like IBS), and even neurological symptoms like tinnitus. 1. Diet Guidelines: Start your day with warm water infused with a few drops of lemon juice. Avoid very spicy, oily, and fermented foods. Eat at regular intervals — avoid skipping meals. Pomegranate juice (fresh, no sugar) mid-morning helps calm the mind and support digestion. Include gut-healing foods like steamed vegetables, rice gruel (kanji), and cooked fruits. Use ghee in moderation to soothe your nervous system. 2. Lifestyle & Mind Relaxation: Regular sleep-wake schedule. Try to sleep by 10 PM. Avoid screen exposure after 9 PM. Gentle evening walks and time in nature can improve serotonin balance. Meditation & Pranayama: Practice Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) daily for 10–15 minutes. Try Bhramari Pranayama — highly effective in calming tinnitus and improving sleep. Begin with 5–10 minutes of meditation focusing on breath and awareness. Manasamitra Vatakam: 1 tablet at bedtime (30 mins before sleep), with warm water or milk. Application of Brahmi thaila on head 30 mins before bath or at bed time. Nasya with ksheera bala thaila is helpful. You can get Shirodhara done in any of the ayurveda panchakarma centre.

Dealing with depression, stress-induced IBS, and insomnia from tinnitus can be tough, I totally get it! First, let's think about your Vata dosha. When it's out of balance, all sorts of things like anxiety, insomnia, and digestive issues can pop up. So, let's try to calm that Vata down. Start with your diet. Favor warm, cooked foods like soups and stews over anything cold or raw. Those easier to digest! Add spices like cumin, ginger, and fennel; they can help boost your digestion and ease that irritable bowel stuff. Try having a glass of warm water with a pinch of ginger powder before meals–helps fire up the digestive 'Agni.' For stress and depression, Ashwagandha might be your ally. It's known for helping the mind and body adapt to stress. Take it as a powder or capsule, about 500 mg daily, but night times the best. Pachak is another, a good digestive aid. but talk to a healthcare professional before mixing things. Speaking of night–insomnia might benefit from a bit of warm milk (got to go with almond milk if dairy's a no-no) add a pinch of nutmeg before bed. It helps sedate the senses. avoid screens at least an hour before sleep, the blue light's a sneaky disruption. Tinnitus can be stubborn, and I admit Ayurveda might not be a silver bullet here. But gentle self-massage with sesame oil, warm it a bit, especially around ears, neck can improve circulation. Pranayama like Nadi Shodhana, a few minutes daily, encourages relaxation. Don't force though, keep it gentle. But hey, if symptoms feel overwhelming, professional, in-person help's always a good call – it's okay to ask for more support! These steps are just starting points, they can require some time to show effects. Patience is a virtue here.
