how to stop chewing tobacco - #37036
I am really worried about my habit of chewing tobacco. It started a few years ago, just when I needed to focus while studying. At first, it seemed harmless, and honestly, I thought it even helped me concentrate, but now it feels like I can’t go an hour without it. My gums are always sore and I actually feel like I’m constantly craving it, even when I tell myself I don’t want it anymore. I tried to quit a couple of times but I always end up going back to it. I read a bit about how to stop chewing tobacco, but I feel lost. Like, do I need to completely cut it off all at once, or can I slowly decrease the amount I chew? And I’m curious if there are any natural remedies or Ayurvedic suggestions for this. My buddy said something about using licorice root or maybe fennel seeds?? but it feels kind of vague. I just want to find a way to how to stop chewing tobacco without all the stress and side effects I've heard about, you know? I really don’t want to mess up my mouth or my health even more, plus, my family is starting to notice and it’s embarrassing. Any advice or tips would be seriously appreciated! Thanks!
