Based on your symptoms, it seems like a Kapha-Pitta imbalance may be at play. Kapha can lead to weight gain, sluggish metabolism, and fatigue, while excess Pitta may cause body heat and excessive sweating. To balance these doshas, focus on a light, warming, and slightly astringent diet while avoiding heavy, oily, and spicy foods. Incorporating regular, vigorous exercise and mindful eating practices can help boost your metabolism and energy levels. Herbal support like trikatu or guduchi may assist in balancing both Kapha and Pitta, but a detailed assessment would provide more tailored advice.

Hey, so gaining weight easily and strugglin’ to shed it—sounds like it might be related to your dosha, you know? Especially if you're tired all the time and sweating a lot. From an Ayurvedic perspective, excess weight could be a Kapha imbalance. Kapha is like the energy that governs structure and lubrication... it can get heavy when off balance. First things first, let’s get that digestive fire, or agni, revved up. Start your mornin’ with a glass of warm water with lemon, bit of honey, if you like. Not cold water. The warmth stimulates digestion and gets things movin' along in your system. Avoid cold foods and drinks in general—they tend to dampen your digestive fire, which isn’t what we want here. About the sweating and body heat, something to consider would be balancing Pitta, too, since it could be contributing to that heat. Try to avoid excessively spicy or oily foods. Reach for cooling foods like cucumbers, melons, and leafy greens... they'll help. Consider including some light exercise like brisk walking or yoga in your daily routine. Both of these are great to balance Kapha without over-exhausting the system. Exercise during the Kapha time of morning, ideally between 6am and 10am, will be more effective. Herbs are your ally! Trikatu, which combines black pepper, long pepper, and dry ginger, is excellent for stoking that agni. A teaspoon with warm water before meals should help your digestion kick into gear. Stay consistent with your meals — try three meals a day with no snacking in between to allow digestion to complete its process. And get plenty of rest, but not oversleeping... Kapha types can go a bit haywire with too much sleep. If you notice anything extreme or severe with your body heat, or fatigue shoots up, consult a healthcare professional. It's all a balance and a marathon, not a sprint... be patient and kind with yourself as you make these adjustments.
