It sounds like you might be dealing with a fungal infection, commonly known as ringworm (dadru in Ayurveda). Here’s a step-by-step plan to manage it:
Wash the affected area with warm water and mild soap. Pat it dry gently with a clean towel. Always keep the area dry, as moisture worsens the condition.
Apply a paste made of neem leaves and turmeric powder. Crush fresh neem leaves into a paste and mix with turmeric. Apply this to the rash twice daily and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing off.
After washing off the neem-turmeric paste, apply coconut oil mixed with a few drops of tea tree oil. This helps soothe itching and fights the fungal infection.
Take Haridra Khand (a turmeric-based Ayurvedic supplement) internally. One teaspoon with warm water or milk twice daily boosts skin health and immunity.
Avoid wearing tight gloves or exposing the area to water for long periods. Use breathable cotton gloves if needed to protect your hands.
Wash your clothes, towels, and bed linens separately in hot water to avoid spreading the infection.
Follow this regimen for 7–10 days. If the rash continues to spread or shows no improvement, consult an Ayurvedic practitioner or dermatologist for a detailed assessment.
