What to do when I see blood while on both control pills

I started taking birth control pills (Levonogestrel) for about a month, although not diligently, only after unprotected sex. I had my period about 13 days ago. And now am seeing blood since yesterday and I had to use sanitary pad. What should I do?

Spotting or unexpected bleeding can occur when you're taking birth control pills, especially when taken inconsistently. It's likely your body's way of adjusting to the hormonal changes, particularly since you began Levonorgestrel without a fixed daily routine. However, it’s essential to rule out other considerations that might need attention. Short-term: first, don’t panic. It’s usually not serious, but to have peace of mind, monitoring the bleeding is a good idea. If it's light and manageable, it might just be the body reacting to how you're taking the pills. If the bleeding becomes heavy or continuous, reach out to a healthcare professional. From an Ayurveda perspective, your doshas could be affected by inconsistencies in taking the pill. Vata dosha, related to movement and circulation, might be aggravated here — think of it as instability in the routine the body loves. Fix this by adopting a regular routine if you decide to keep using birth control pills. Take them around the same time daily to create balance. Addressing your diet, opt for Vata-pacifying foods – warm, oily, nourishing foods like soups or stews, and avoid excessively cold or dry meals. Include grounding herbs like ashwagandha or ginger to soothe any vata imbalance. A simple concoction of a cup of warm water with a pinch of ginger and honey could also help to stabilize your body's reaction. If you consume caffeine frequently, try limiting this too, as it can ramp up vata imbalances. But, here's the thing, any severe abdominal pain, dizziness, or heavy bleeding needs quick medical attention – you should see a doctor immediately if these arise. Keep the focus on balance, regularity, and nurturing your body with what it needs, and re-evaluate your birth control choice with your doctor if needed. Tuning in with both body and mind is key.

How to cure gas problem and IBS and Also upper back pain ?

I have huge gas problem and IBs and also upper back pain Please provide me a better treatment bcz I unable to complete my work on time.........

Hey, dealing with gas issues, IBS and upper back pain can really throw a wrench into your routine. Let’s tackle this from an Ayurvedic perspective, though it might take a little patience to see results, sometimes. Firstly, gas and IBS are often signs of a weak digestive fire or agni, and a Vata imbalance. We're looking at strategies to soothe and strengthen digestion, while keeping Vata in check. Start with food. Simple, warm, and easily digestible meals are key. Try kitchari, a soothing mix of rice and moong dal. It’s a staple in Ayurveda for good digestion. Avoid cold, raw foods, and particularly spicy, oily or processed ones — they’re tough on your belly. Little tricks like drinking warm water with a pinch of ginger powder before meals, helps rev up the digestive fire. And mind the grains. Stick to easily digestible ones like rice over wheat, at least for a bit. For Vata balance, create a routine. Meals, sleep, work — same time each day if possible. It sounds simple, but consistency can calm an agitated dosha. Also, try including Abhyanga in your daily routine. This is just a self-massage with warm sesame oil that calms Vata and nourishes the body. Now your back pain... it might be stress-related or from poor posture, often a bit of both. Stretching or gentle yoga can work wonders here, focusing on poses that open up the shoulders. Something simple like child's pose or cat-cow stretch each morning and evening is a start. Also, check your work environment. Could be an ergonomic issue, like your chair or desk height. Don't forget to breathe. Slow, deliberate breathing can both calm an anxious gut and back tension. This might sound a bit odd but it is surprisingly effective, especially if stress is a factor. Lastly, do keep an eye on symptoms. If they worsen, like you're seeing blood in stools or pain becomes unbearable, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare provider directly. Ayurveda’s amazing, but listening to your body’s alarms is even more important. Hope this gives you a starting point! Let me know if there's more I can add.
