Back pain with leg pain for 1 month is mainly due to Vata imbalance affecting nerves and muscles (Gridhrasi / Katishool type condition). What you should do 1. External Therapy Apply warm Mahanarayan oil or Sahacharadi oil on back & legs Do gentle massage + hot fomentation (heat therapy) daily 2. Internal Medicines Yograj Guggulu – reduces Vata and pain Dashmool Kwath – for inflammation & nerve support 3. Diet (Vata pacifying) Eat warm, soft, slightly oily food Include: ghee, garlic, ginger Avoid: cold foods, dry food, excess sitting on empty stomach 4. Lifestyle Avoid long sitting or sudden bending Sleep on a firm surface Do mild stretching (only if pain allows) Keep body warm
Go for x-ray of lumbar spine first –your knee and back pain for the past one month is likely due to an imbalance of Vata dosha, which causes pain, stiffness, and discomfort especially during walking or standing. Since it is mild and without other symptoms, it is usually manageable. Regular oil massage (Abhyanga), warm fomentation, gentle stretching, and a Vata-pacifying diet can help. But because you have a previous surgery history, proper examination is advised before starting treatment. –Prescription: 1) Aimil Rumalaya Forte 1 tablet twice daily after food 2) Aimil Rumalaya Gel Apply locally over knee and lower back 2–3 times daily 3) dashmoolkwath 20 ml twice daily with equal amount of water after meals 4) tab muscalt forte 2 tab twice daily after meal 5) tab trifla 1 tab at night ----External therapy advice: Warm Dashmool oil massage followed by mild hot fomentation Rest and avoid prolonged standing/walking –Pathya (advice): Vata-pacifying diet (warm, light food) Avoid cold food, curd at night, and heavy exertion –Follow-up: 15 days
