How to increase AMH level? - #20270

Hardi

My age is 33 and AMH is 0.4. One miscarriage in November 2023 and one failed IVF in January 2025. How to conceive naturally? Can I increase my AMH level. I’m tired of injections and IVF treatments. Now want natural pregnancy. Is this possible in my case, where AMH is low.

Dr. Swathimutthu Prasad B N
I’m Dr. Swathimutthu B N, and my practice is deeply rooted in the Ayurvedic care of women’s health, with a focus on balancing hormones, enhancing fertility, and supporting every stage of the reproductive journey. My core areas of expertise include managing menstrual irregularities, painful periods, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, and menopausal challenges through individualized, holistic care. I also provide preconception counseling and comprehensive postpartum support to promote safe and natural recovery. One of my key strengths lies in addressing infertility in both men and women. I integrate Ayurvedic detoxification therapies like Panchakarma, herbal formulations, and lifestyle interventions to naturally enhance fertility, regulate ovulation, and improve sperm health. My goal is to identify and treat the root causes of reproductive imbalances rather than just addressing surface-level symptoms. Each consultation begins with an in-depth assessment of the patient’s Prakriti (constitution) and Vikriti (current imbalances), allowing me to create highly personalized treatment plans. These plans often include Ayurvedic therapies, dietary adjustments, yoga, pranayama, and stress-relief techniques—customized for long-term vitality and well-being. My approach is not just about treatment, but about walking alongside my patients throughout their healing journey. Whether you are preparing for pregnancy, managing chronic hormonal issues, or navigating the emotional shifts of menopause, I provide close follow-up, emotional support, and continuous guidance. I am committed to building a compassionate, evidence-based practice rooted in Ayurvedic science. By combining ancient wisdom with modern insights, I aim to empower each individual to reclaim their health naturally, safely, and sustainably. If you’re seeking a thoughtful, personalized, and holistic approach to women’s health and fertility, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Low AMH levels can be a concern, but it's not the end of the road when it comes to natural conception. From an Ayurvedic perspective, focusing on balancing your doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, is important for reproductive health enhancement. Firstly, diet plays a crucial role. Incorporate foods that nourish and build the reproductive tissues or "Shukra dhatu". Opt for a diet rich in healthy fats, proteins, and nutrients - sesame seeds, milk, nuts, such as almonds and walnuts, ghee, and fresh vegetables like asparagus can help. Organic foods are recommended to avoid toxins that may disturb hormonal balance. Also, cooked meals are easier to digest and assimilate than raw foods, aiding your "agni", or digestive fire. Secondly, considering Ayurvedic herbs and formulations can provide hormonal balance. Herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Guduchi support the reproductive system. Ashwagandha rejuvenates tissues and reduces stress, which could influence hormone levels positively. Shatavari is renowned for strengthening reproductive health and aiding hormonal balance. However, consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before incorporating these into your routine - as they will offer guidance specific to your "prakriti", or constitution. Regular yoga practice and meditation can also support hormonal balance. Stress reduction is key — as stress can impact both directly and indirectly on fertility. Practices like pranayama help in enhancing the flow of prana, which is essential for cultivating deep relaxation and improving overall well-being. Scheduling your daily routines is another Ayurvedic principle that can support health. Regular sleep, eating, and exercise patterns help maintain balanced doshas and stronger health. Lastly, avoid cold and raw foods that can disturb your agni and opt for warm, cooked meals instead. Traditional Ayurvedic massages with sesame oil can enhance blood circulation and balance doshas, also. Natural methods are a gradual process, patience and persistence are virtues here. While working on these lifestyle alterations and dietary changes, ensure you're continuously monitoring your health and consider regular consultations to adapt strategies based on ongoing changes. It’s essential to maintain communication with your healthcare provider, so any critical needs are promptly addressed, blending modern knowledge with traditional wisdom for comprehensive care.
