Avoid Legumes (lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans, etc.) veggies (like broccoli, cauliflower Fried, spicy, overly sour foods Cold or stale foods Drink Ajwain water (carom seeds) – Boil 1 tsp in a cup of water, reduce to half, sip warm after meals. Cumin-fennel tea – ½ tsp each of cumin and fennel, boil in 2 cups water, reduce to 1 cup, sip through the day. Warm meals only – Avoid cold salads, raw foods, especially in the evening. Eat small, warm, frequent meals Avoid lying down right after eating. Keep dinner light and early (before 7:30 PM) Note what you eat and when pain occurs. Sometimes it’s not just legumes but food combinations or stress triggering pain.
