Hii Madhumitaa..due to steroid usage it has damaged your skin barrier, it will take time to lighten hyperpigmentation. Take enough water and take nutritious food. Complete your sleep of 7 hour. Avoid direct contact with sunlight or hot wind. Stress will worsen your condition, don’t take stress. Whenever you go out, keep affected area covered and if possible use sunscreen for few months, if you want to take medicine then take tab. Aamalaki rasayan 2 tablet early morning empty stomach, take 3-4 spoon of pure cow ghee in your diet and apply uva cream at night daily if you have no acne problem then you can also use kumkumadi oil at night after proper face wash.

Ah, hyperpigmentation after using a steroid cream can be really stubborn, I hear you. Good that you've been trying natural remedies. Turmeric can certainly be helpful, but sometimes it needs a more holistic approach to balance your skin from within. So, let's look at this from an Ayurvedic perspective. Hyperpigmentation might be due to imbalances in your doshas, particularly Pitta, which can affect your skin health. Addressing this might require a combination of dietary, lifestyle, and herbal interventions. First thing, keep your Pitta in check. Start by incorporating cooling foods into your diet like cucumber, coconut water and leafy greens. Avoid spicy, oily, and sour foods.. These can exacerbate Pitta and make pigmentation worse. Drink plenty of water, you gotta stay hydrated, like, around 8-10 glasses daily. Keeping your skin hydrated is key to flushing out toxins. As for herbal remedies, aloe vera gel can work wonders. Fresh aloe vera, applied twice daily can soothe and might help lighten those dark spots over time. Sandalwood paste is another good option — it’s cooling and might help over time too. Do you practice any yoga or pranayama? These can improve your overall skin health by promoting blood circulation and reducing stress, which is know to inflame doshas imbalance. And remember to protect your skin from the sun. Use a good-quality sunscreen, because yep, even natural remedies need a helping hand against UV. But, hey, skin takes time to heal, be patient with it. Sometimes it can take months, even years to correct pigment issues naturally. Takes consistency and care, you know! If things don't improve, don't hesitate to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner or dermatologist, 'cause they can offer more personalized insights! Keep at it, and take care.
