Spine stiffness can be such a pain, quite literally. It sounds like your situation is affecting your sleep as well as your posture. Ayurveda can offer some insights. You know, from an Ayurvedic perspective, a lot of this stiffness might be coming from a vata imbalance. Vata dosha, when aggravated, can lead to stiffness and discomfort in the body, including the spine. Addressing this might help you find some relief.

Firstly, you could try adopting a warm oil massage with sesame oil. Just warm it slightly and apply on your neck, spine, and back before taking a shower. This helps in lubricating the joints, reducing vata. Also, consider a warm, calming herbal drink before bed. Try boiled milk with a pinch of turmeric and a dash of ashwagandha powder. It can be really grounding.

In terms of posture, paying attention to how you sit during the day can bring big chnages. Try to avoid sitting in one position for too long. Adding some gentle yoga stretches like Cat-Cow or Bhujangasana (cobra pose) in your routine might also help. But go slow, don’t rush or push yourself into pain. Listen to your body.
